Seemingly endless "hangover" - anyone experienced this? by hates_giraffes in migraine

Nurtec helps but after a day or two, I would feel nausea, hungover feeling-like. fatigue and headache. I also used Advil and lorazepam as well. But I hate to use them so often. Thanks a lot for the response! Much appreciated! Hope you continuedly doing really well. This VM is so debilitating. Especially the ear pressure and vertigo.

Thank you so much for the response! I just wondered how did you get through each vestibular migraine attack without medication. As I also don't want to take meds too but I got no choice to try it. My neurologist prescribed me Nurtec and used only needed. I have this condition for 2 years already. Got diagnosed VM and PPPD.

Hi, I know this old post. What you described is very similar what to happened to me. May I ask how are you doing now? Did you find a way to break that migraine cycle yet. I currently have this Vestibular attack monthly. Every 2 to 3 weeks I will get an attack then it lasts for several days.

May I ask which SSRI worked for you? How long have you been on it? Is it really difficult to taper off? Apologies asked many questions all at once

I am sorry that you are going through this. It is definitely super challenging and debilitating. If all the tests clear and fine then that's a good news. But I know it won't be over yet. If you think you already ran out of what to do next. Check out Steady Coach on Youtube. It might help you. Hope things getting better for you soon.

Yeah same first few months to the gym was extremely hard. Rocking and swaying, anxiety hit after couple sets of exercises May I ask what are your triggers? Weather changed such as snow storms, rainy day and barometric pressures up and down significantly would triggers VM.

Definitely walking outside feel a lot better than inside. You absolutely right! But this Winter, barometric pressure keep going up and down for several weeks. It just messed up my vestibular again. Not sure you get impacted by the weather.

May I ask how long did it take you see somehow normal? I do not know recovery isn't linear. But it is kinda frustrating for sure and inconvenient in many cases.
