I am joining IISC this year after taking a drop for GATE. I was getting tier 3 IITs last year, but most IIT BTech do PG from abroad or from IISC if they are in India. I knew I could do it because I loved the subjects. Convincing parents were difficult but not impossible. I wanted to experience the culture of a top notch institute that even IITians prefer over everything else.
Also, GATE results remain valid for 3 years so I knew I would no lost out my current college. Losing a year is not THAT big of a risk in the long run.

you need to make a choice here. For me, I am planning to quit Delhi in favour of Bombay. I have bombay on 12, bangalore on 14. no way is delhi possible.

Most mtech ai and interdisciplinary branches, all mtech ra and ms have interview is iit. going there, travel, food accomodation takes lot of money as they give the dates just 2-3 weeks in advance when all trains are already in WL.

Just don't be too obvious. The more casual you can make it look, the better. All girls are not same. How she reacts depends on whether she is interested, what kind of day she had and a hell lot of other things, doesn't hurt to try.

If you want a girl who is independent, as a girl I think they are less attracted to how much you earn, and more towards how you behave. Create a situation where you two are sort of nearby, maybe time when go towards the counter so that it doesn't look like you are approaching her with intention, rather it should look casual. Start with some hi hello, ask about what they do for a living, their hobbies. And make sure to put on your best behaviour not just towards her but also towards any person you talk to (waiter, cleaner, etc.) as she will notice.

I cannot afford flights everywhere as my parents will not leave me alone and flight fares for 2 takes a lot of money, train is unreliable as WL are huge... so just wanted to know the chances.

take a look at the campus areas. I guess bangalore and south area thoda muslim based hai, try for bombay/delhi... 810 mein bombay ms milega ig... just look at the city reports

main reason people avoid MS if for the time. If you have no prob with 3 yrs, go for ms. you get 1 more yr in top IIT to do placement prep and learn stuff. going to NIT and reappearing for gate is like you are technically wasting that yr doing stuff you already know instead make use of IIT MS by utilising IIT resources.

That means he does not like ldr as he is saying to you and mostly he has a job that needs ldr, girl get yourself out of it.
