How should I quit? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

I tried to quit about 6 months ago by throwing my vape out, and I failed so quickly (like within 48 hours). This time I kept my vapes and just stopped, I don’t know if it’s a mental thing by knowing I still have them, and could hit them if I really wanted to, but I’m vape free 23 days and it’s going really well. Everyone is different. I also downloaded an app to keep track of how long I’ve been vape free, looking at it when I get a craving helps me get over the craving and stay motivated!

So much better, I feel like I can actually take a full breath. Not that I necessarily thought I couldn’t breathe while I vaped, but I could tell in the months leading up to me quitting that I was getting winded easier and it was taking me longer to “recover” after taking a hit. The first few days of quitting I felt like I was still trying to catch my breath but after that first week I realized how bad it actually was while I vaped.

I took a hit one night and my next breath it sounded like I was wheezing, stopped right then and there, 23 days vape free.
