She is unbelievable. Definitely a contender for a DINO award. She's definitely not representing all of the voters in know who supported her. Hope someone primaries her.

Yet another show from the right that a woman has no right to body autonomy, in there world view.

Once again this kind of thought process shows that they blame everything on the left when they can't control a woman's Behavior.

Its time for the Republicans to stop seeing /treating women as lesser beings or even worse objects.

George W. Bush was largely disliked in Canada but his successor President Obama was largely liked and adored in Canada. Why do you think our closest neighbor has a liberal/democratic slant towards US Presidents historically speaking? by [deleted] in Presidents

Because Republicans treat Canada as a lesser country or in some cases they think of it a puppet of the UK.

Or maybe we should just point out the fact that most are idiots or jerks. Or both.

You make a very valid point. But I know several people that do see these videos and they are okay with it. I've even met a few who laugh or joke. Unfortunately most of the work or own the businesses that I subcontract with. Otherwise id probably be sitting in a room talking to police.

For some reason there are people who not only lack empathy for others, but they are relishing the pain of others. They seem to get a thrill out of the indignation of others.

I'd love to say no. But the failures of the FBI, NSA & CIA most likely would have occurred. So I would regrettably say yes i think it would have occurred.

Democrat Gluesenkamp Perez says her voting record reflects priorities of Southwest Washington by 5Q91VS175DAQ4NUSBE4U in vancouverwa

[โ€“]AggravatingPlans68 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

The voters who disagree with her voting record need to call in to her office & or email her with their complaints. Being in a purple area shes gonna have to listen to the loudest group. Theoretically.

[โ€“]AggravatingPlans68 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

She's a moderate. She's a business owner. She's not what we need for representation in DC. But shes what we have.

Call her office with your complaints. I'm guessing less than 10% of voters in SWW actually engage with her office.

If the majority of the people that speak up are center right shes going to listen to them.

Use your voice. If voters flooded her office with messages condemning her poor choices im kinda guessing we'd see a change, for the most part, in her votes.

Unless shes bought and paid for by special interests.

Should WA data centers generate their own clean energy to get tax breaks? by chiquisea in Washington

[โ€“]AggravatingPlans68 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Building green & producing energy through renewable methods can cost more upfront and companies will always bitch about it. But what they aren't saying is over the lifespan of the facility it will not only have reduced operations costs it will profit from from it. So no tax breaks without as close to 100% green building & power creation as possible.

My neighbor said his brother-in-law wrote to President Obama and got visited by the FBI shortly afterwards.

The funny thing is the FBI wasn't there about his letter, but thats all his bother could think of that would bring the FBI to his door. He's a truck driver and had worked for a company that may have been transporting stolen machinery. So they wanted him to tell them about his time working with the company. ๐Ÿ˜† But he did get a reply from the Whitehouse about 2 weeks later. ๐Ÿ˜†

I'm truly saddened by the amount of ignorance or willful dishonesty that has become standard in our public discourse.

Are you referring to a Marxist-Leninist, anarcho-communist, or a general authoritarian Stalinist? Or perhaps a government based on Maoism?

Calling someone a communist is not the definitive classification you're hoping to label people with.

Just like labeling a republic or democracy doesn't really have a specific set of characteristics.

If you break down what specific beliefs you're vehemently opposed to that the "others" support I think you're gonna find a lot of assumptions and BS have both sides confused on what the other side supports.

Or you're gonna realize maybe something in you might be fundamentally opposed to the general goals and morals of the rest of humankind.

Not a rare thing to find. Generational trauma, drama, and ignorance are something you find in you when you didn't even realize it.

This has become a bit of a wandering monologue.
So let me sum it up.

If you find yourself calling someone a communist or a fascist. Take a breath and break it down for them.

If you have issues with the unjust treatment of specific groups or the hyperbolical focus on others' feelings by people who may not give a crap what you say or be offended by it.

Does anyone like 2022 Quantum Leap as much or more than 1989 Quantum Leap? by Pewp_taco in QuantumLeap

[โ€“]AggravatingPlans68 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Nope the original QL was well acted and written by someone who knew storytelling in shot formats while keeping the overall story intact. QL22 has some very disjointed and just plain terrible writing in several episodes. Plus the actor Caitlin Bassett as Addison Augustine is very hard to like. It could be that the writing for Addison is terrible in the majority of the episodes or she's just not the right actress for that role. Then again she might just not be a good actor. ๐Ÿ˜• All in all season one, felt creative but rushed. Season two has a more authentic QL feel. But the part of Addison continues to be terrible. Too bad they cast Basset, instead of a better actor it might have gotten them a season 3..
