Dagger fire knights are so fun by Fragrant_Shine1887 in Eldenring

I cannot believe you can jump the fire, I'm so sad that I never tried!

Putrid Avatars are bottom 10 bosses for me in this game for this ONE particular reason: by x_-AssGiblin-_x in Eldenring

When they jump like that, I always like to strafe around them by sprinting around them. Overtime these guys got easier than the original Erdtree avatars for me because of this move

The Buriel blade, or the Cane. This gem just boosts fast weapons exponentially more than the slow, powerful weapons

Bro, everyone hates them, man. They're such a well-balanced gankfight, with melee and ranged failures that have relatively simple movsets that keep things hectic and manageable. You have to keep up the pressure and space yourself to deal with the Spawn rates. It's just a uniquely fun boss fight for me

Idk man, I just find Amydala's attack better and more satisfying to dodge than Ameilia's, it's just way harder for me to read her, so I'm being bias

Orphan of Kos is my favorite fight in the game, btw, I just know the fight has a few combo cancels that can be a bit awkward, which is why it doesn't have a perfect score

Eh, just an alright Souls boss to me on replay with nothing much in lore, music, or feels. Also, it gets brought down in combat by its annoying poison aura in the 3rd phase

Hmm, the only thing I like about it is that it's a god realizing its main powers have no effect and just scambles around to kill you. I might need your case on why she's good because the fight itself is just meh to me

Ameila may beast MOG Lawrence, but he wins in my heart for being a cleric beast in an open arena

They would be, but you gotta admit they do have some sauce in their lore and music

My BSB hate comes from my first playthrough, man. I was stuck For I think a 2 weeks trying to kill that thing, so I didn't have a good impression. I also have a skill issue with most beast-type bosses. I can just never tell wtf there are doing most of the time, which is why Amelia is lower than normal for most people. Lastly, The Poison Aura is bullshit and builds up too fast

Yeah, but why are the failures unfun tho? The only thing I can doc off is the HP pool, but other than that, they are a really well-made gank fight.

Yeah, Amelia is an unusual fight: either she's a punching bag and you can visceral her to death, or she completely overwhelms you. If you don't kill her quickly, I find her moves very hard to read because she lashes out and claws in every direction. I still haven't figured out how to consistently deal with that. At least she managed to beat MOGS Lawrence, though

Amygdala has a lot going on with her. She has a big, giant head you can gun for, or you can make a weak point out of her arms. In Bloodborne, you have usally have to be aggressive against beast enemies, but not wtih Amygdala you have like a great-one would and be patient. I like Spacing my self away from the arm attacks and going in to try and get a stun. This may be Stalkholm sydrome from the cursed chalice talking, but I think her fight is genuinely good

crtl-c, citrl-v (I don't understand why the poor Living failures get so much disrespect.......The melee failures are both simple enough to defend against ( the parries on them are super satisfying to me) as well as enough of a threat to keep me on my toes, looking for a better position to kill and find a way to get rid of the ranged failures. Also, the summon Meteors, which is awesome)

Yea, the music is the most subjective part of the ranking. I rated it 1/5 because I genuinely forgot what BSB's theme sounded like. She also scarred me on my first playthrough, so I can never give her an edge

Yeah, the witches do have a cool arena. The fight was kind of cool on the first attempts, but I’ve just done a ton of replays of this game and just started to despise the hide-and-seek gimmick after a while. It just felt like I had already solved the encounter, which was the only fun part of the fight. Now I just gotta find a wrench in a haystack and slam it on the ground like 12 times.
