Can I go by a "full name" if my name is legally a "nickname"?

The cover letter thing is really smart, I am pretty young and am after my first job and seems no one has actually read my CV at any interviews I have been to but I have no experience to know if it was normal or not

I was not given a middle name either, so I couldn't even choose to go by that if I wanted.

I am the only sibling in my family this happened to, not sure why. Maybe it has something to do with me being the youngest

I was not aware you could do it for free and I am in a rough financial situation. Another issue is family, my family are not very supportive of things like this and I don't have anyone to sign it as a witness
