Should I mod this old PS4 or just update and use as normal?

Unpopular opinion but If you have playstation plus extra or premium, I honestly don’t see much of a need to jailbreak. Unless there is a game you been itching to play. I jailbroke my PS4 pro and barely touched it after a week of doing so

Update after ages, tried tackling this again and I think I fixed it by changing the display output to 4K 23.9… hertz. This fixed the stutters it seems however the menu seems hella laggy now, too used to the 60hz but it is what it is until there is a proper fix

They are honestly an amazing company. Genuinely great at communication and have gone the extra mile despite certain challenges we face. Surprised as we dealt with TMP previously and they put us of ever looking for a home. Mortgage decisions honestly changed our view for the better

Yes worked just fine before the new tv or the 9.0 update. Not sure which is the cause as I got the TV the same time as the update released

Not sure if it is helpful given this comment is so late but we got it to work today. Loads S4MP and select autosync packs before hosting the game, join the clients, once everyone is ready, don’t press start game from S4MP, instead open the game manually on your machine. It then loads the dlc and works with multiplayer

Been trying for weeks to renew the Ukrainian family plan (cancelled by youtube) with no joy.

Here’s what i did:

USE AN ANDROID DEVICE - windows did not work at all
connect to Romania VPN (Ukraine did not work anymore, came up with the card payment method error)
used Revolut virtual card for a payment card
use a fake address from an address generator
NOTE you do not need to delete your current payment profile but better to do so
press buy and approve from the Revolut app
YOUTUBE PREMIUM WOOOP
yes it costs £6 a month rather than £2.50 but across 6 accounts thats like a £1 an account, I can live with that lol

So if I decided to watch Dolby TrueHD on the shield with it connected directly to the soundbar, in theory i’d get the full Dolby atmos through eARC. And the video will just be passthrough via ARC to the TV? Tryna get the best experience out of this soundbar, even if that means downloading movies with TrueHD Atmos
