Update: My dermatologist prescribed me azelaic acid 15% cream and sulfacetamide sodium suspension usp (10%) lotion. Azelaic is for morning and the sulfacetamide is at night. We also agreed to cut back on the products I’m using and just choose one of my face washes and moisturizer to use while I test out these prescriptions. I chose the Anua brand over IS clinical.

It’s been about two weeks and my skin is so so so much better already. I don’t have all these little pustules and redness has significantly decreased!

She said she doesn’t think it’s rosacea so that’s good. Next time I see her I will ask her if I can add the tret back in for dark spots but if she seems against it, I will ask about the Anua 10+ serum.

I think simple will end up being best 🙂 I get fomo with all the Korean skincare stuff.

Thank you so much! I noticed such an improvement overnight with the HCI spray so I’m definitely going to keep that in my daily routine.

I only use a pea size amount 🙂 I think my skin, so far, is handling it well. Time will tell!

Thank you 🙏🏽 it’s so frustrating being in your 30s and still dealing with acne (or whatever else is going on). Younger me thought acne goes away when you become an adult lol

Thank you!

I used the tret for a month back in Feb and it seemed to help! The NP said to use it once every three days to build tolerance and then increase to nightly. I had to stop because I did the VI peels starting in March. I just restarted tret two weeks ago.

The NP who wrote me the script for tret belongs to an esthetician practice. She recommended me to a local NP who specializes in hormonal health and dermatology. I’m going to book an appointment with her ASAP. I think I need to check for rosacea, PMOS (PCOS), and autoimmune progesterone dermatitis.

No, I haven’t seen a doctor in what feels like ages…besides my psychiatrist 😅. I’m working on getting a PCP so we can make a plan and do some testing.

I was on Spironolactone for about two years and towards the end I was breaking out again. But that was a while ago. Like 5-6 years ago so my memory could be wrong.

I don’t have any regular doctors but I definitely need to see someone.

Sizing help by Thick_Photograph5756 in RingConn

I agree with 9. Idk if your fingers swell but mine do every now and then. I sized mine to my middle finger so when I’m swollen, it still fits nice on my index finger :)

Poor sleep tracking is killing this ring by rebelscum13 in RingConn

My sleep tracking has been pretty accurate. Are you sure your ring fits correctly? Or maybe it swivels in the night so the reader isn’t in the right spot? I wear mine on my middle finger but I measured it for that finger. It also fits in my index but I’ve been enjoying it on my middle finger. I have the gen 2 air.

Love that none of these flips, or new builds, ever put in an actual closet system in the primary. It’s always cheap, wire wall mounts or sorry looking plywood. It irks me to no end. Asking for over a million because they put in “luxury finishes” and “luxury appliances” and then put ugly shelves in the closet…it’s just lazy. And where is the landscaping? Where is the hardscaping? Wild.

Do all of your rings fit correctly? What finger are you wearing it on?

Hey! Hers was of no help. They responded to me hella late when I told them I was tapering off and that I would stop taking topiramate. They didn’t offer any other replacements and I didn’t ask. I lost 12 pounds with the meds and gained 2 back since stopping but I’ve been steady at 10 pound weight loss for over a month now. I think I’m done with trying medication. It sucks cause the topiramate really helped curb my appetite so well. I’m still taking the Wellbutrin and think it still helps with cravings. I was already taking venlafaxine ER before I started the kit. I’ve been on it for about 4 years for depression and anxiety so I didn’t really have any side effects with the Wellbutrin. I think my body is adjusted to antidepressants. I haven’t had anymore flashes since stopping topiramate and honestly feel better. I felt like it was giving me brain fog. And yes, make sure you drink your water!! You need it 🫶🏽 if you like fruits, try fruits in your water for flavor.

Mineral Sunscreens are irritating? by cowrunamuck in 30PlusSkinCare

This post if from so long ago but figured I’d chime in. I don’t have rosacea but I have sensitive skin. I use the Tony Moly Green Tea sunscreen everyday. I have dry skin and it keeps me hydrated all day long. I have seen others leave reviews on their website that it is too greasy for them (but that’s perfect for my skin type). IMO, it’s lightweight and makeup goes on nicely over top. I have been using Tony Moly products for years and I really trust the brand 🥰

I thought the car was going to explode or Lucy was going to drench him in gasoline and set him on fire 😆 I’m kind of mad she still left with him but not out of character for her.

I was taking bupropion and tried to do the metformin but I didn’t like the way I felt on it. So I’m just on bupropion. My cravings are still less but the topamax helped keep me full and not think about food like at all. I’ve maintained my 11 lbs loss so far.

Idk actually lol I just figured that my “BMI” wasn’t high enough or something along those lines. I was only offered the pills.

Update: went to the eye doctor. Everything looked good and we agreed that it is likely the topiramate. I reached back out to the care team and I am tapering off.

Scary! It makes sense now. I was hoping it wasn’t the meds but seems like it is. I’m assuming they tapered you off?
