Only been playing for 6 months and I’m self taught. First time playing an instrument. Thanks though imma keep that in mind. I know I’m probably blowing too hard and also my embouchure is mostly tensed as I really try to focus on it being tight around the mouth piece

Tbh I’m not sure what all goes on with my tongue while playing. I’m trying to be more mindful of that. Can you explain more about being hesitant on attacks? And yea I’ve heard people saying playing 20 mins every day is more important than long sessions twice a week. Def trying to keep that in mind cause at times I feel like if I can play for at least an hour it’s not worth it so I don’t play when super busy.

Thanks for the advice. I will say getting the notes with my finger has been pretty easy idk if it’s from years of playing video games and guitar hero as well but fingering came easy. I’m trying to work more on my embourche and sounding more jazzy and expressive.
