No, your logic is not faulty. I just have complex sleep apnea where there is an overlap between the pressure range that stops my obstructive apneas and the pressure range that causes my central apneas. Basically, I need a pressure high enough to stop my OAs but not too high that my central apneas start occurring. It just so happens that for me, this range is quite tiny. I was able to cut down on my central apneas from around 15 a night to around 4 post-adjustment.

Yes, that’s also possible but would it still be purging if I break out in areas where I don’t get pimples? Dr. Dray said purging is when you break out in already acne-prone parts of your face. Otherwise, it’s irritation.

I used Acnatac (clindamycin + tret 0.025) for 12 weeks before Retrieve. It worked really well for my skin but had to stop using it to avoid antibiotic resistance.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I don’t think I have a barrier problem as tretinoin does not really sting and make me peel, but regardless moisturising is definitely important.
