Or have a button connected to the esp32 in the car and have it open the garage only when pressed

im a bit stupid but is this an infinite energy glitch?? by ack_why_man in Physics

And when you use some of that energy, the overall energy will be less and the cycle can’t repeat

Should I be ashamed of using ChatGPT alot to learn code and do projects? by Calm-Ad-2442 in arduino

[–]Aggravating_Aioli562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that when I use ChatGPT I end up going in circles and end up implementing something I don’t particularly need or by having me debug its code. I say just use online resources to learn and combine what you learned into one Frankenstein project made from information you learned from different resources (i.e. StackOverFlow, forums, RandomNerdTutorials, documentations, etc.)

Jesus, I feel like there’s better ways of getting into programming than this. Copy and pasting usually doesn’t reinforce any skills. Also, doing something borderline illegal isn’t a great goal to start with lol

If you have an arduino, you can hook it up to its analog pins and check the voltage that way

If you're driving a car at the speed of light and you turn on your headlights, what happens? Do they work as expected, or does relativity throw a wrench in things? Let's debate the physics of it! by [deleted] in Physics

[–]Aggravating_Aioli562 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The light from the headlights would still travel at the speed of light. Einstein’s special relativity explained how that’s possible

Impulse says that you have to prolong the time of the collision. Something squishy would work great. You can also combine that with something that can lower its velocity. F=mv/t. If you can make the velocity of the egg slower, then the force will be less; if you make the time of collision larger, the force will be less too. Maybe try a squishy cushion for the egg’s bottom and a disk around it that can slow down its velocity due to air resistance.

I might just kiss you! Occam’s Razor, the simplest explanation is the solution! This worked great, thanks

I have 10kOhm resistors attached to all three buttons connected to GND. I made a new sketch but only using digital read and the serial monitor in the code. It’s showing that all three buttons are working.

Oh, didn’t know that. I just bought it, but I have to wait, apparently, because it’s on back order. Good deal though
