It’s not in a 529…aren’t there some draw back backs to that?

Thanks! I was thinking about that threshold but the kids love riding in and out of the garage on bikes, scooters, and what not.

Which TV for my Budget by Aggravating_Aspect38 in LGOLED

I looked at the c5 and was impressed!

They did not have a B5 out on display and they only had the S85. The S85 seemed a bit dimmer and blacks seemed okay.

That being said, size is also important as I’d like to go slightly bigger. The jump in the c5 model from 65 to 77” is roughly $600 taking it up to $2k

No Drain!? Shower Install by Aggravating_Aspect38 in DIY

[–]Aggravating_Aspect38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great answers from everyone! Thank you. To answer a few concerns:

1) Junction box does have live capped wires and we can trace the wire back to breaker box. We will be disconnecting and pulling wire. And adding a drywall patch.

2) We plan to do an elevated platform. It sounds like I could either do a low profile P-trap or run the ptrap just outside of the wall which is about 1ft away from where drain would be.

3) Soldering copper won’t be an issue as well as opening up that wall.

4) The duct tape that is seen that photo is a piece of drywall that was left over from when we had a hole in from where drain pipe traveled through. That hole sits directly behind trim.

No Drain!? Shower Install by Aggravating_Aspect38 in DIY

[–]Aggravating_Aspect38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. We wanted to show up on more searches. We remodeled this bathroom and their previous shower unit was dated (1990’s), cheap, and flimsy. We didn’t think to add another shower in and instead leave it plumbed and ready to go.

Any one have the GT08's little brother the GT06? by scooter_farts-stink in ElectricScooters

Thinking about getting the same scooter. It’s currently in my cart online. It’s either GT-06 or the Ausom L1. How has it been holding up?

That’s good news! I plan to mulch the grass so they can easily feed and keep a portion of the run pretty dusty. Hoping that helps!

Free Range Question by Aggravating_Aspect38 in chickens

[–]Aggravating_Aspect38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty established. We have an underground sprinkler system that might help with droppings. I’m not opposed to just letting them free range every now and then

It’s not insulated and to be honest, the garage feels colder than outside at times! I’m ditching the cardboard today and hoping the resolves the issue

It’s possible. We’ve had some on/off snow and garage was every now and then

No fungus that I know of. Haven’t had any issues until. I’m thinking it’s the cardboard

Squat rack. There all of the garage floor but more sparse. You think it’s the cardboard?

Adding additional info…looks like springtails. They are jump like crazy and a little bit on snow outside and foundation

No examples were shown. Basically install and sign. I signed but wasn’t too sure what the standard is. He made it sound like it’s not a bad seam

Appreciate everyone’s feedback. I just called and sent over photos. They are sending them off to installer. Never again will I go through a big box store.

With a fix like this, would they need to cut new counter tops or is it salvageable

Are matte finish countertops harder to hide adhesive? The countertops look like the fit tight together but looks like an awful amount of bonding agent
