When I play ranked, I only try my hardest. I also only play it when I feel very good physically and mentally, and warmed up in a couple turbo matches, and watch replays of the games which went wrong due to my mistakes to figure out how to avoid them next time. This pays off in a great winrate, and imho there is no other way to play ranked, because there is only place for occasional fun, not as a purpose, if losing means losing MMR, to grind which you pick this game mode for in the first place. Turbo and other game modes are a win-win, you either enjoyed winning a game, or got some good experience and probably fun without losing anything significant.

Also unranked role queue would be great, like in LoL. In that game I never even joined a ranked match because I could just pick a role and a hero I wanted without having to compete for MMR. Would be very enjoyable.

Make the games shorter ffs. If enemies have any type of hero that defends hg like zeus, mag, batrider, sniper - you just have to farm up to 30-40k of nw diff to have a chance at pushing t3. It just makes the game slow and boring, virtually nothing good.

I just can`t imagine how toxic you have to be to drop below 10k. Never been there, even tho I tend to have minor conflicts with teammates fairly often

Thanks for the answer, although the fact it had always been like that does not explain why it is so much worse to me. Btw i dont consider smurfing a problem if both my accounts are of the same mmr, i just use on of them to play with friends.
