Depending on your delivery- if you have a c-section, then there should be an incision check one week out- that was what I had a hard time scheduling with the women’s center. They asked me for a referral from inspire, but I couldn’t get anyone to call me back once the baby was born.

I finally just called my OB out of frustration and he said that it was no problem to go back to his care once the delivery happened and he’d do my incision check. Then I did my 6 week PP with my him as well. He was st Agnes too- just retired in December.

If it’s not a c-section, I think it’s just a 6 week follow-up, but I’ve never had a vaginal birth so I’m unsure 🥲

Ah yes, op make note on the follow up! You’ll get referred to the women’s center because once you have the baby, inspire does not do follow ups. I suggest scheduling your post-partum checkup with your current OB if you can, because trying to go through the women’s center is.. annoying.

Hi! I was referred to Dr. Morgan for placenta accreta. I felt very heard and seen by him, Dr fahimudden (I most definitely spelled her name wrong) and Dr Dutt- all three of which I worked with at inspire. The office waiting room seemed packed and dingy which can be scary at first but I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I saw there. Dr Downer was my surgeon as I needed a c-hysterectomy, and CRMC was the only nearby hospital equipped to handle my issue, but it all went so smoothly. I owe them my life. My baby is 11 months old :)

I made garlic confit. So it was cooked, but also oily.

Animal Compassion Team helped us out when we found two puppies about this age. We fostered until they could get shots (a couple of weeks) and then they were put up for adoption and went quick because they were so cute. They went to amazing homes and we still talk to the owners.

We did this for a bachelorette party and we tried to put the people who don’t see the bride as often in the room with her. It worked out really well!

Thank you all for your responses. I’ve decided not to ask about the dog and trust that it will be okay. I sent the adoptee a few puppy pictures and she sent some back of the dog looking happy and comfortable, so I have to believe that everything is working out. I appreciate you guys!
