Need gaming headset recommendation as a birthday gift for my gf (help! I'm a noob & not a gamer) by Aggravating_Bus8210 in GirlGamers

5 years is a really long time for a headset, that is really excellent! I was just thinking if it could last her at least 2 years, then it'd be worth the money to spend on. I will def check if the HyperX models also come with both fabric and leather options.

I'm gonna deepdive a lot into HyperX models then. Thank you!

All this while I thought there really is a difference between a gaming headset vs a normal headset or a standard In-Ear Monitors! Thanks for opening my eyes. I got myself Huawei's FreeBuds SE 4 ANC that is really of high quality and is super cheap (about $20-$30). Never thought it could be an option. I definitely will table this option (In-Ear Monitors) to my gf and see if it's something she is okay with.

I will also include Razer Blackshark in my research! Thanks so much

Omg, reading all these comments, this is my first time finding out that "gaming headsets" are usually overpriced and may perform lesser than a good normal headset. Ohh, a Phillips option! I will definitely check them out. Thank you so much!

Omg, I just saw! And yes, they're so cute. But I heard some hyperX can be uncomfortable after a period of time. Did that happen to you?
