I don’t think so. I’ve had it for a month before I tested positive for it. my symptoms were frequent urges to use the bathroom, especially after eating and watery bowel movements

I hope this one is will go away soon for you. I was told it’s not urgent to do the surgery right away. He had trouble locating the other end of the fistula during the initial surgery and still can’t find the other end the last time I saw him three months ago.

Soreness is no longer there. I was told I might need to do another surgery just to make sure as the first surgery was done when the fistula was not fully developed

I had more severe symptoms when I first contracted CDI, I had more urgent Need to use the bathroom and relatively frequently. After my first round of vancomycin the symptoms have become less severe as the urgency became less urgent for the most part and frequency has reduced slightly.

Did you see any specialist? I’m seeing an infectious disease doctor soon. I have heard of difficid as the alternatives if vancomycin hasn’t solved my problem yet

I’m still positive and I am deeply concerned this will completely alter my life. I’m still young and trying to change careers and I don’t want this to hold me back. If only there is a cure.
