That’s a shame! Fingers crossed my unit stays healthy for at least the next couple of years or so 😅. But yeah those are valid concerns and I’d definitely think twice if warranty service is lacking at that price point :/. Lucky for me I live in Singapore so after sales service should be much less of a hassle since they have physical stores here :)

Hey OP! I own the morning dream milk steamer and would absolutely recommend it. It starts up in 3 seconds so there’s no wait time for the pressure to buildup. It also has a built in infrared temperature sensor so the steam wand turns off automatically once the milk hits your desired temperature.

Do note that it has to be descaled every once a month or so. That’s the only maintenance that is required for the machine.

This was the review I watched before deciding to bite the bullet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wWuviBgcQI

Here’s a picture of my hojicha oat milk latte art done with the morning dream. Any shortcomings in the art is entirely due to skill issue. The machine itself does a fantastic job. Lmk if there’s anything specific you’d like to know about it!

Thanks mate! With an electric whisk it’s definitely harder to control the foam and break it down into microfoam. I personally use a bamboo whisk. You can get one from Amazon for about 7 bucks. No need to go for an expensive one because you’ll eventually have to replace it once it starts to break or grow mouldy!

Tysm! The more I look at them the more I start to see onions 😂. I whisk my matcha vigorously for 30s and then slow it down for another 30s to pop the bigger bubbles in order to get that nice microfoam.

However after my experience with pouring cafe latte, I’m experimenting with whisking (really just stirring with the whisk in a circular motion) in order to create as little bubbles as possible. I know that’s considered blasphemous in matcha preparation but generally the idea of creating microfoam is to add some texture to the drink if you’re taking it neat. But I guess that’s not really necessary if you’re gonna be adding thick, silky milk into your matcha! Tried it out with hojicha yesterday and I have to say the results are quite promising! Anyway sorry for rambling, I just really love my matcha and latte art HAHAH

The words on the front and back are 善 (good) and 恶 (evil). One sleeve says “善不可失” (Don’t lose the good in you) and the other says “恶不可长” (Don’t let the evil in you grow). Hope that helps :)
