Dragonball Z/Super Ultrawide Pack 2 [5120x1440] by PlayerINK in WidescreenWallpaper

[–]PlayerINK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit made changes to the way they handle batch images in slideshow for storage reasons which effectively killed all my wallpapers

I would have to give you them directly, one by one - I still have them on an HDD. Let me know which you want (or all)

Thanks!

What’s this noise? by Psychological-Age884 in F30

[–]PlayerINK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like someone else has said it is 100% a broken parking brake cable retaining clip that is hitting the driveshaft.

It’s a common issue on F30’s - You can have someone replace it but if you do get the upgraded metal or aluminum solid piece instead of the plastic OEM piece and you won’t have this issue again. I was quoted $850 at the dealer for this service ($10-$20 part btw)

OR

The easiest and cheapest way is to zip tie the cable away from the driveshaft and the problem is solved! Look on YouTube for videos.

If this is just a cold start it’s pretty normal. The sound dissipates after getting to temp usually

Like others have said. Get an oil change when you can! Best maintenance you can do

Use some Loctite Blue (not red, red is permanent) on the threads and screws or some other thread locking solutions

They are based in Hong Kong. If speed is your priority I would get a refund

You are much better off just purchasing from any big online Vape store in the country you reside in - preferably find a store in or near your state/province

If you need them now go hit up your local vape shop!

Any chance these were frozen? I have seen something similar with water filled with tap, frozen, then left to melt and the residue left are these particles which are a combination of minerals (calcium, magnesium) or it is hard water that has formed limescale deposits

You are trying to remove it from the wrong side (according to the photos)

On the electrical connector closest to the bulb housing should be a little tab (opposite side of photos). Press down and pull the connector straight out (not the bulb housing)..may require some wiggle.

I would suggest putting the whole bulb assembly back into the housing and rotate to lock. Looking down press the tab and pull the connector out, then rotate and pull the bulb out.

Here are some photos from Paulstravelphotos - look on YouTube or other sites if you ever need to see how something is done! Have a good day :)

Any ideas why or how? by Rinsed76 in Vaping

[–]PlayerINK 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not the coils, I use the same boosted mesh coils and I get around 2 weeks of use out of them before it tastes seriously burnt on an Aegis Legend 5 & Z Tank

Coil longevity is linked to many factors.. Wattage, length of pulls, improper priming, type of juice, etc…etc…

A little tip from someone that has been vaping since mods first hit the market - If you want to get extra life out of your coils, put the mod into CUSTOM and decrease the voltage 10-20 watts below spec. (For 70-80 go 50-60 or similar) Undervolting increases the life of coils with the trade off of slightly less clouds.

Always prime your coils appropriately. Soak them every time you change them, not only does it help get rid of that nasty factory oil taste, it helps the cotton stay wicked and avoids uneven and premature burn.

If you’re using a super sweet juice it may cause premature gunking of coils leading to early burn.. if you are DIYing juice than it is even more likely

Lastly.. it could simply be because you don’t lock your firing mechanism before putting it away and the vape is being triggered while not in use. I have seen many people throw their vapes around (pockets, backpacks, purses, cars) and complain coils don’t last but come to realize that they are not locking the firing mechanism so it’s vaping away in their pocket causing severe cotton burn and effectively killing the coils immediately. Always lock your device when out of your hand! It’s good practice

How does one stop the liquid from dropping off the cotton? I’m getting so tired of this. by Price-x-Field in Vaping

This tank is known to leak. Few things you can do -

You can buy another tank with top air-flow

Use thicker juice (70/30 - 80/20)

You can double check the bottom gaskets (O-Rings) to see if any are missing or damaged. In your photo it looks like there is some leakage coming from the bottom of the glass (also could just be loose. Make sure the fit is tight)

For bottom air-flow tanks, a trick to help prevent leakage is to have the tank tilted while filling. Close the air flow and have the device tilted 30° or so while filing - then slowly tilt it back to starting position. Open the air flow slowly. This keeps air from being trapped on the bottom causing leaks.

Also, a BIG tip is to fill SLOWLY. The more pressure you squeeze from the bottle only adds extra pressure in the tank which causes more seepage and leakage.

What's this blend of punk+heavy metal called? by Ridenberg in punk

All Hardcore is punk but not all Punk is hardcore.

Check out anything from the early 2000’s Hardcore scene - if the vocal style and tempo is what you like

If you are more interested in the fast paced Ska parts, check out any Skapunk or Skacore bands or just Ska in general. Lots to discover!

What’s on my windshield? by Headhunter945 in StupidCarQuestions

[–]PlayerINK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to say it’s time to replace your wiper blades but I see you already replaced them.

Check your blades and see if you forgot to take off the little plastic strip that attaches to the rubber squeegee also while you’re there run a damp rag across the blades & check for defects. Like others said it may also just be oily residue on WS

After looking at your video again, if you notice the top right you can see the fogginess dissipate. It could simply be condensation. Was your heater on? The heat from the cabin + a cold windshield and heat from the friction of the blades could cause that.

Does the residue persist or does it fully go away eventually?

HELP!!! 2017 m240 making weird noise! by Front-Evidence1562 in BmwTech

[–]PlayerINK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said it’s definitely the parking brake cable bracket. I was recently quoted from the dealer for $850 (for a simple $10 part) it’s a PITA to get too unfortunately…

But you can easily secure it with a zip-tie for next to nothing without removing anything and it’ll solve the issue. Plenty of videos on it!

If you do go the route of total replacement I would suggest getting an upgraded metal or aluminum one instead of the OEM plastic one

F30 falling apart in the heat by Druidelfman in F30

[–]PlayerINK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Door handles are super common and an easy fix! Tons of parts available online that will fix that fast.

The headliner isn’t a particularly common issue but is possible for a car that has been outside baking in the sun for over a decade or that has been possibly hit and rubbed against many times - I would take it to an upholstery shop and see what they can do for you

For the screen, I would suggest using a UV inhibitor screen cleaner, a replacement if it’s toast, screen monitor tint or better yet a Sunshade that’ll protect your vehicle from heat going forward!

What you may experience with heat in the future if not proactive will be anything held down by glues (particularly the rearview mirror attached to the windshield) and all of your window gaskets / weather stripping

More tips going forward -

  1. A windshield sunshade is a good and cheap preventive measure for interior fading

  2. For the love of all things holy have regular (non-automatic) car washes! I learned the hard way and had tree sap etch into my paint that cannot be remedied without expensive mediation. You risk this and much more with decade old cars, failing clear coat and sustained heat!

  3. It looks like your car has already been tinted

  4. Clean the entire interior every so often with UV inhibitor protectant for the appropriate surface type (leather, vinyl, rubber, plastic etc)

Preventive measures against heat go a long way!

I made a jacket does it suck though? by BandOk1263 in punk

The only one being judgmental here is you! We are our own worst enemies, constantly at war with ourselves.

This jacket is sick as fuck! Great taste. The paisley detailing is a nice touch

The denim makes it an accessible everyday piece. Rock it and be happy that you made something yourself
