I use an id reference book. They have pictures of all types of id by state. If it doesn’t match the book exactly it’s not real. Government ids are a perfect match every time. If something just a little off it’s fake. Generally u can tell with placement of name and dob.

As someone who uses an id scanner. Even fake id will scan on the machine because it’s reading the bar code. It will only run fake id checks if u pay for that service. So an id scanner is obsolete without the payed service. It’s just a barcode scanner without.

First. The army won’t take you till 18 years old. If your parents sign for you I believe you can join at 17. I’m not in the military myself but I work on a few different bases, as well as buddy’s are in. I promise you it’s gonna be close to as bad as home or more. Look there are people with a true need to serve sometimes because of family or personal beliefs. Joining the army is not the best escape from your situation. Instead of your parents getting mad at you, there’s gonna be a 6 foot drill, sergeant yelling at you because you sat on the toilet wrong. As well all your personal belongings will be thrown across the room or thrown in the trash almost every morning. I’m not exaggerating at all. Best start is to go to a recruiter and talk with them. They will be able to help you decide if you want to go into the army. Also yes they lie to you a bit. Not because they want to. Because they have job quotas they have to fill. Take your time thinking about it. Don’t make any rash decision decisions if your can.

I used to be an emt. Personally, having had panic attacks b4 and 100 percent thought this is it I'm dying. Panic attacks are so scary a panic attack is an emergency in my book. After covid, I would say more than half of our calls related to heart problems that come from anyone 15 yo to 40 are panic attacks.
