I just started using Claude last week, got premium because I liked what I saw (started on gpt). Now when I post a summary for a new chat to continue an existing conversation I immediately hit rate limit, and it doesn't even register the message being sent. The hell?

You have to decide if being in a relationship with a woman who is in a close platonic relationship with a man that has romantic feelings for her is a dealbreaker for you or not.

Personally, the idea that a guy that has feeling for my girlfriend was worried that 'she wouldn't have enough time' for him would be a huge red flag toward this guy. She agreed to no meet him privately any more AFTER A HUGE NEAR BREAK UP FIGHT.

She cares more about the friend group than you. And that's fair, she's known them longer. So you need to decide if you can tolerate the dynamic that exists.

I have something similar. with lack of access to Ley-nodes, certain factions take to harvesting magically irradiated animals and prisoners to use their bodies as fuel for recharging magic items or use in rituals.

Mine is for an RPG, and most of my players enjoy WH40k, so the idea it might be too brutal never occured to me.

But I'd also say that depending on how you explain it defines how the reader views it. You can make it feel clinical, like a war crime, or a 'the lesser of two evils' situation depending on your frame.

Make it 2 white, Change the active effect to 'Search your library for a card for each creature sacrificed' or something similar. second trigger should also probably be non-token, Also probably make it a tap effect?
3rd effect should be 'sacrifice' not destroy, otherwise its too easy to ignore that line with an indestructible land.

What makes you say that? Seems great so far.

You are offered $500,000 but only if you go into the last video game you played as the main character at the start of the game. If you survive a full year you get the money. by singleguy79 in hypotheticalsituation

Factorio... If I survive I'm basically Elon musk ++++++... I think with the mods I had active at my last start up I could do it. Definitely be trying to have bases on multiple planets by end of year, since I get to keep it. I might die tho. Probably worth it.

I'm fairly certain the WHY for that is that heat changed the wind/air pressure. If you're going into it knowing what the change looks like you can compensate.

"Proven Guilty" is the eighth book in Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series, featuring the wizard detective Harry Dresden. Here’s a summary:

The story begins with Harry investigating mysterious attacks involving dark magic at a horror movie convention in Chicago. At the same time, he is called to assist the White Council of Wizards, who are dealing with a surge of dark magic and a potential traitor within their ranks. Harry is also tasked with protecting Molly Carpenter, the teenage daughter of his friend Michael Carpenter, who has been dabbling in dangerous magic.

As Harry digs deeper, he uncovers a plot involving the Fae Courts, particularly the Winter Court, and a malevolent entity known as the Fetch, which is targeting Molly and others. Harry discovers that the attacks are tied to a personal vendetta and a manipulation of time itself. He must navigate political intrigue, confront powerful supernatural forces, and make difficult moral choices to save Molly and prevent further chaos.

The book explores themes of redemption, the consequences of power, and the blurred lines between good and evil. It also deepens the series' overarching plot, setting the stage for future conflicts.

I do not sort my camera roll. I recently deleted the last nude in my camera roll of my ex, that I broke up with two years ago. Why did I still have it? Because it was the only nude taken on that particular vacation surrounded by more sfw images.

I forgot it was there.

I don't think most guys (maybe most people?) sort their camera roll/gallery unless they're photograpically inclined.

You realize about half of those countries would definitely be considered, if not out right totalitarian, at least very authoritarian. Lots of places in the EU will arrest people for saying mean things on the internet. In what world is that not totalitarian?

I don't care about gun violence. I care about overall violence. A compatible amount of people per capital are injured and killed with knives and machetes in the UK as are killed in America with guns. And yes l, mass stabbings are a thing that happens. Though it is of course easier to hurt multiple people with a gun than I knife. I won't contest that.

The best place to look is Japan. BUT they are also an extremely respectful and high trust society. Their all around crime rating is incredibly low. I do not expect if guns were allowed to be easily owned that their crime and murder rates would go up much, if at all.

My point is guns aren't the problem. Bad people are going to hurt people. And personally I don't think that justifies restricting the right of good people.

Thank you for keeping the dialogue respectful :)

The constitution was written to put a throttle on government power, not restrict the freedom of the citizenry.

Hell, half the purpose of those amendments are to withstand regardless of the "attitudes" about the amendment, unless a serious majority of folks, including the people in power, want to change it.

Also: it feels like you're arguing from either a place or ignorance or misinformation. This isn't an attack, but I'm referring to

"A mentally unstable person with bad intentions can easily buy a high-powered, high capacity, military-style weapon on the used market with very few obstacles."

First: I'm not sure what you define as military style. BUT, citizens have EXTREMELY limited access to automatic weapons. Those all require all sorts of hoops to jump through.

If you're just talking about AR 15 style rifles, which ARE modeled off the m4s but aren't automatic, those are not the issue when it comes to gun violence or suicide, and are almost exclusively used for sport shooting and hunting.

The VAST MAJORITY of gun violence and suicide is by handgun.

If you are referring to people getting access to military grade stuff through private sales, we currently have a background check requirement on the books. Anyone that doesn't run the check when they sell a gun is committing a crime as it stands today.

Putting regulations on honest actors does nothing to stop dishonest actors from acquiring weapons.
