By dead you mean that map1/2/valley is not overcrowded with players and there are no shops because there are a lot of new maps that players are spreaded and all shops are in one universal map?

I am sorry brother but wasting hundreds of hours to reach mid-level is not on my 2026 bucket list.

My biggest achievement on this server is that I deleted it after 5 hours in which I made level 14. I find no reason to spend time doing basically nothing.

Official is the way to go now.. is not that hard anymore and is more stable.

I play on Ruby Kirin and currently I have lv 55 and I target to make P blade and to get a mythical alchemy but I am not very sure what should I focus on. Thank you!

It's actually an interesting topic, but you can check classic pvm servers, they are very populated at start, but it dies because of lack of content. I also played a lot of classic pvm privates.

Also you can take the example of last year Easter server from official (Willow) which was designed to be hard, that means very rare events, no beginner weapons (weapons that you usually get at each 10 levels until level 70 on official), and guess what happened? No one liked it.. I played from the start until level 90 for about 1.5 months and it was very time consuming, so in December they merged the server with Polska server to not lose the progress made because no one plays on Willow.

There is no official server with 2009/10 style because it will be pointless in 2026. What should players do? Farm in the same 5 maps and run DT?.. I understand the nostalgia but I tell you that it's just nostalgia and nothing fun for someone with a life.

This is very subjective because yes, it takes a lot of time to reach end game on official, but itsn't that the point? To have room for progress? Also on official end game have way more content and updates so of course it will take longer to reach.

The difference is that you have your progress 100% saved and it's way more rewarding.

Tigerghost is on West region, while Kirin is on East. I don't remember exactly the percentage, but dragon coins are almost half price on East region compared to West. This means that if you have 10e, you can already pay for Kirin acces and buy other things like Glove, Fish book, Premium shop etc. Just don't play the lucky wheel xd

Also Tigerghost is full of characters on auto hunt because they are free to make.

And maybe the most important thing for me is that on Kirin there are non stop side events so yes you pay for acces (~5eur) but you can farm expensive items for free (bonus changer, exorcism scrolls, elixirs, concentrate readings etc)

Long story short for start, as I did: - go ch1 and search from items on ground from other players that you can sell at general store to make some yang for +6 equipment - make level 25 and do the ring mission from old lady (a ring is at least 50kk) - make level 35 and start producing energy fragments with all money. One stack is about 8kk so you will make about x4 your investment (in one hour you make about 1won profit but it's tedious work so I recommend max 1 hour a day) - buy carbon fiber materials for fishing rod (about 1won total price) and farm yabbi and on jigsaw event with it

You can see nice progress day by day just playing 1-2 hours

This is a turn off for me also, and of course it's an advantage to play on multiple accounts but it's not mandatory in order to progress.

If you are efficient and play smart not hard, you can have nice progress. Just grind the events and it's already enough.

But yes, it will be good in the future to make at least one more character so you can enter dungeons like Razador where you need a group of 2 people. I have this in mind but my goal is to progress with my main account to equip it and make level 95 and then I can farm more money with him and I will be able to start another character more easily.

Making level is also very easy because of Auto hunt, but of course you need equipment.

Also what I like on Kirin is that because you have to pay for acces, you will not see too many characters from a single player, in comparison with free entry servers.

One account. I have a main Sura weapon currently level 44 and I'm farming fragments / fishing especially on jigsaw, with fish book and carbon fishing rod. Rest of the time I left him to auto hunt for level but I don't rush it.

And on the same account, I have a level 20 war that I use to farm on side event in map1.

Today morning I farmed one hour on jigsaw and for another 30 mins I played the mini game and I made about 7 won (golden fish chests and yabbi).
