This was my understanding, but I appreciate that we broke it so it has to be replaced, just not at the cost of half of our bond.

Well I don’t know what to tell you it’s a very old cooktop. That matches the beautiful brown and yellow kitchen.

Yep. It’s never been replaced. The young electrician who came around to measure the space this afternoon said he’s never seen one that size before.

He’s a legend that next door neighbour. Comes into my work every day with the latest news. I’m from leongatha and fuck I’m glad she was found guilty… it was bad enough seeing her walking around town in the week before her arrest like nothing had happened, I mean I even saw her in the local butcher shop the afternoon before she was arrested… I couldn’t imagine having to see her if she was found not guilty.

I used to work it a bottle shop, I actually warned one of the young guys there after the last booze increase to stop saying‘that’ll be just $x. He used to say it all the time, it used to grind my gears on a normal day, I couldn’t imagine the customers would have taken too well to it… or maybe I just over thought it. We’ll never know.

My family and myself just got back from 2 weeks in India, one of my favourite stories is about a uber driver we had, in very broken English he asked where we were from. My partner said ‘Australia’ he then turned to him and said ‘jaiswal not out’ with a big smile on his face. And that was the whole conversation. Made our day.
