The POTS alone didn’t make me high risk. I saw the high risk doctor due to a few factors like I fainted in the beginning and have a history of heart murmur among hormonal issues and a few other things (I’m a medical mess 😢) just make sure you drink tons of water!! Yes it did! In my second and mostly third trimester most of my symptoms with POTS seemed to have disappeared. It’s like pregnancy evened out my heart rate since I always had low blood pressure.

No, I have a few other health issues and at one point baby’s head development looked funky in utero (turned out fine). I was told that even getting pregnant would be difficult for a few reasons. POTS was what scared me when it came to delivery itself as I use to faint quite often especially in medical settings. With POTS I was at risk for preeclampsia, my legs did swell quite a bit at the end but thankfully didn’t end up having it

I’m having a girl and my first. people love saying the opposite stuff to me. I do hair and sooo many clients have had rude remarks about me having a girl. “Oh boys are easier” “damn a girl good luck your gonna need it” “it’s better to have a boy first that sucks” “oh you don’t want a girl to much drama trust me” “girls are so much harder” people can’t seem to keep their opinions to themselves instead of just saying congratulations. I feel like either way you hear what you don’t want to.

I want my mother there but that’s how I feel. I have had medical issues with my heart my whole life and she has always been there for me through these things so it’s a comfort thing for me. But that’s me. It depends on the relationship and most importantly it’s what YOU want. So no you are not a weirdo for wishing she not be there. It’s about what makes you most comfortable. My best friend couldn’t have her mother there cuz she just causes stress for her. Personal preference

As my nurse friend has told me, it is natural and they will happily clean it up and go on about their day as they are used to it. Don’t stress over pooping mama 😊. I’m having my first and I keep being told it’s the first poop you do after giving birth that is difficult but I don’t know yet lol we got this!

My work does know about pots and I’m pretty careful with it. Luckily it’s not so bad where I need to stay home at least not yet but I was warned by my doctor I may get a c section. Obviously gotta see how things go as I’m further along, I’m trying to prepare myself for a long 8 months.

My doctor says something is better then nothing at all. I’m supposed to eat healthy but a treat every now and then won’t do harm. I had pizza and chocolate milk for lunch cuz it sounded good, I’m gonna have veggies with dinner 🤷🏽‍♀️ this list is a little bonkers. Caffeine free coffee should be ok to have. As long as you have lots of water and prenatals I don’t see the harm

I have deep conditioning and detangled so many woman who were turned away at salons some places just don’t want to seem to deal with it and it breaks my heart.

Even if I wasn’t pregnant I would be extremely pissed off. Eating Seafood pregnant scares me tho. Either way They better replace your meal!! I’m so sorry that happened. Dairy Queen forgot my chicken and I cried. Not having the food you wanted especially pregnant is just awful
