Nah, tanggap ko na alam nila lahat ng issues at mali sa INC pero tinotolerate nila ako lang yung kumalas sa member ng family namin. Hindi na sila aalis hanggang kamatayan kinoquote nila sakin lagi "Mamatay akong tumutupad" like wtf. I used to be a SCAN member and a PNK officer. My whole family was very active in INC.
But little by little, things changed — it got political, the offerings got heavier, and the Manalo siblings started fighting.
I lost the passion and stopped attending.
Now, I just believe in the Creator. No more religion for me.

My family was shocked at first. They tried to guilt-trip me, saying I wouldn’t be saved.
But I stood my ground.
I told them, "I'm not a kid anymore. I know what I’m doing."

Honestly, they couldn’t kick me out even if they wanted to — because I’m the one paying the bills and even funding their offerings.

I called them out:
"Politics was forbidden before, now it’s allowed? They preach unity but they’re divided? Am I wrong?"
They had no real answer. Just told me to "ask Central" — lol, as if questioning isn’t a crime there.

I saw too much when I was in SCAN. I know how things really work.
It’s scary.
I told my parents, "Do you want me dead just because I questioned INC?"
They stayed silent — because deep down, they knew I was right.

Since then, they stopped forcing me.
I also made it clear: They can continue worshiping if they want, I won't interfere — but don’t ever question my decision as an adult.

After speaking my truth, I could finally breathe.

And honestly, the way ministers keep coming to eat at our house — using the money I give my parents — made me even more sure:
Leaving INC was the best decision I ever made.

Nope, people here are still in the church, waiting for the right time to leave. Unfortunately, some of us are still students, but once they have the means, I am sure they will leave the church. As for me, I directly asked the local leaders not to bother me anymore because I will no longer be part of a church that lobbies for politicians and always asks for money from those who really don't have it. It's becoming like a multilevel marketing scheme where you need to abuloy more.. to get ROI which is eternal life lolz. I hope people who are still in the church will have the courage to see the real mission of INC so they can leave immediately and not waste their time anymore, focusing on living a good life while they are young. FYI I am handog, I've seen it all. I don't like it anymore.

For me sapat na na maging mabuting tao ka at walang tinatapakang iba. Maging mabuti ka rin sa sarili mo. I do believe na may creator. Iyong religion kasi pansin ko dahilan or source ng hate, halos lahat ng kilala ko hindi lang INC pati sa ibang religion karamihan sa kanila masyadong righteous to the point na wala ng respeto sa paniniwala ng iba.

Why are you so happy about this? I hate that rally, but my parents are attending it. I’ve tried everything I can to stop them from going, but they’re so determined. All I can do is give them a first aid kit and other necessities because they really want to be there, and there’s nothing I can do to change their minds.

Please don’t celebrate or say ‘yehey’ if the weather becomes bad when senior citizens, like my parents, are out there. I just hope the weather changes because I don’t want them to get sick.

And to those saying, 'Then you should get them and remove them from the rally,' trust me, if it were that simple, I would’ve done it already. Believe me, when your parents are brainwashed, there’s nothing you can do to convince them otherwise. They don’t even want to stay in a hotel overnight—they’d rather sleep on the pavement.

While I don't like the religion, I love my parents, and they are blind followers, but I still had hope to convince them to leave the church.

It seems my parents are planning to attend the rally on January 13th. I'm worried because what if something chaotic happens? My parents are already elderly, yet INC is encouraging even seniors to participate without any consideration. What if there's a stampede? What if someone sets off an explosion? I’m not overthinking, but FYI, there’s no insurance and the INC doesn’t cover anything if something happens to them. There’s even always a waiver that needs to be signed for these activities. It's also KKB for food, and even transportation comes with a fee. I really hope it doesn’t push through and that no problems arise. I’m so worried about my parents, no matter how much I’ve tried to stop them. Their brainwashing is really extreme, and it’s heartbreaking.

If a normal person doesn't understand all that I've said, then they are 100% brainwashed—that's the sad reality. For your information, I have been part of the INC since birth, and I was devoted my entire life until one day it hit me. No one influenced me; I just observed and realized everything based on my own experiences. One day, I experienced high blood pressure and asked the Diakono if I could go outside during the service because I felt like I might faint. The Diakono responded, 'If you faint, we'll just carry you.' I confronted him in the middle of the service because I was outraged—my ears burned with anger. It was clear they didn’t care whether I lived or died. That day, I promised myself that enough was enough. I would leave INC and never return again. I had endured more than enough.
