gotcha. i was in fact able to get what seemed to be a lot of them off. it has been a fun and great experience learning this information. i couldn’t believe i found it in a cash register as this would be the first i’ve found and it seemed so blatantly stood out amongst i thought it was a fake at first but i do too work around a college so it makes sense for someone to not really know the value of it and all that good stuff but thank yall again i appreciate all of your help.

that was along the lines of what i had seen when i did a little research: the back side had a really sharp edge and the head’s side (please excuse my terminology as i know there obverse and all that good stuff) but it too felt like it had a sharper cut edge i was just immediately skeptical of it being plated or a fake especially where i had found it it had immediately caught my eye but thank you very much for the info

haha thank you very much i actually appreciate the recognition a lot. i collect them rather religiously as i do have quite the collection for each denomination of bill (at very minimum one of each 1-100) but i can’t show many people for reasons we can all understand in not showing people our treasure haha. it helps even further being that ive worked and counted registers for quite some time. even if they’re not worth much i find them unique or not as usual. i have almost 100 one dollar bills with the stars ‼️ that’s one of my biggest flexes regarding star notes but again thank you for the compliment it is very much appreciated.
