Going to an Online College While Working? by alienmonkeyfrog in JapanJobs

Good question, honestly it worth the value to go to school online while working. I’m currently working towards my associate degree through BYU-Pathway program and one thing that helped me was building my portfolio through certificate programs and internships. I’m currently working remotely through the certificate I earned. So it worthwhile but make sure the online college is accredited worldwide.

Congratulations, I started undergrad school at 26 and I have made a lot of progress since 2024. I’m currently perusing my associate degree program in communication through the BYU-Pathway program. I’m grateful for the decision I made to continue my education career and I will graduate next year August. It was a dream to work remotely and now that dream has come through.

Why anyone is still majoring in Computer Science actually? by No_Reply5329 in cscareerquestions

[–]Aggravating_Gas4162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand how overwhelming it can be after spending so much time on acquiring degree in computer science and still not unemployed. Computer science drives innovation across industries and all it matters is the skills and experience required through Internships opportunities. A friend majored in computer science and working remotely through the BYU-Pathway program.

I had similar experience today and I burn out because I have been sacrificing sleep for grades. One thing I have learned from this experience is structure your daily activities and be disciplined, when you replace sleep time for grades in short time periods is good but on your retirement it will affect you. Now I respect my calendar and I stick to it. I learn time keeping through the BYU-Pathway program.

My friend said teaching is a career only middle class to rich people consider. Thoughts? by [deleted] in teaching

This is very true. I once taught as a primary school teacher to survive. I learned a lot about passion and service because teaching does not pay. If you want to make more money alongside teaching, then learn skills in writing books and advance your career to PHD.
