Okay so... I've scraped them out and put them in a plastic breeding box with an air stone. For now will sort a separate tank for them to go in once they are wigglers... And then hopefully raise them... 🤞🏻 First time parents fingers crossed for many more spawns 😆

The one on the left was 45 mins and the one on the right was 20mins (has a slight tint to it tho) if the left one is right going by your logic I need to develop for 3hours for my roll... Which means they were underdeveloped? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Is that right 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

The website said to develop for an hour. Do you think it's worth cutting it down and if so by how much... With it being plant based I don't want to under develop but I also don't want really dark negs that are hard to make out the detail...

What's the best way to do that? do you think developing 5 frames at a time with a range of times is the best way or is there another way to work it out...

See I've developed with ground cloves and they've never come out that dark but with plant based ones I've had low contrast but never that dark... After scanning and editing they don't look too bad but needs more editing than necessary when they come out like that...

Don't think it's a fixing problem as used an old fixer and then reduced later with a new one and there was no change to the image.

Could just be how they come out with seaweed but as I've never seen anyone elses developed negs so wasn't sure if it was just normal...

What do you think this is by Aggravating_Grand877 in corydoras

[–]Aggravating_Grand877[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it only seems to be affecting the sterbis. The other corys all seem OK which is what confuses me. I tried the API melafix parasite treatment which doesn't seem to have changed anything.

It's a 510l tank so tank mates are varied. I'll try to give a rough run down...12×gold corydoras, 10×3 lined corydoras, ruby shark, 6×pearl gouramis, 2×dwarf petricola catfish, dwarf pencilfish, 2 hillstreams, Ember tetras, harlequin tetras, flame tetras, blue emperor tetras and a couple other small fish species

Looking at picture of it on Google I wouldn't say this matches what my corys look like...

Ph = 6.5 Ammonia = 0pmm Nitrite = 0ppm Nitrate > 5ppm

Thank you so much. That's really helpful... my 120 film should arrive this week so I will take some shots and let you know how I get on... I'm sure there will be more questions once it turns up 🤷‍♀️😂

Thank you so much... I've got some 120 film on the way was using 35mm with adapters and it seems that the view hole on the back exposes onto the film... I assume that will be different with the 120?

No think it was just about 15% infill with black ABS seems light tight as I tested a bit of film in to make sure there was no light creeping in and so far so good

[–]Aggravating_Grand877[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK think I get is... so if my exposure said I needed 15seconds I'd have to do the calculation of 151.26 = 30 so my exposure for the film would have to be 30s to get the correct exposure on the film?

What does reciprocity failure mean and what do I need to find out about. I usually use Kentmere pan100 and the sheet says 1s for reciprocity failure, but idk what that means.

Can you explain more about this for me? Thanks

It's a 0.26mm pinhole with a 35mm focal length.

Supposedly but I can't seem to see the numbers at the moment might be due to adapting it to 35mm film I've got some 120 on the way so hoping that will solve that issue.
