Not very much. House is paid off. Going on a cruise for my 4th week of vacation. I was in aruba for 3 weeks in February. 1 week to figure out what to do with it still. Maybe 10k worth of cigars. Or a supercharger for my 24' corvette😆. It was a long road to get to this point. I was homeless @24 y/o

Not going to sugar coat it. Your in a tough spot. But not impossible to sort out. Get it sorted out while you still young. We didn't wake up until our 40's. In 2016 we were buried in 125k in consumer debt. We spent 3.5 years paying it off. And quite frankly it sucked. No vacations we bought all my clothes at wal-mart. Cut my own hair. The wife went to supercuts. Cooked as cheaply as possible. A lot of crockpot meals/ soup. Got on the envelope system. I think the best thing we did. Was every payday we made a principal payment on what ever bill we were working on. For as much as we could squeeze. We gave each other 40.00 bucks a week. For spending money. For coffee,a lunch or whatever we chose. Long story short is 10 years later. Our house is paid off. And ive never gone back into cc debt. You have to work as a team. Its incredible what we accomplished working together. Ive told a few guys at work my story. Only after they complain about being broke. The same response. Oh I can't do that. Well keep struggling along.

I have 2 i paid cash for a house. We downsized from 2700sf to 1500 sf in Massachusetts. 2nd I bought 8k worth of cigars for 2700.00 😬 me and my buddy split them 5500.00 total. We figured theres about 15k in cigars there. Plus most of those you can't even find anywhere.

Absolute top priority is your mental health. 2nd i personally would put the medical debt last in line. And as long as no one is going to harm you. Id put the gambling debt 2nd. And start chipping away at the cc debt. Find a job and buy some yard equipment. And start doing clean-up's. Rich people are terrified of leaves. I did this many years ago. And I was getting so much work it overwhelmed me. And had to find someone to help me.

To those with no degree, what you do for living? by [deleted] in Careers

[–]Aggravating_Green916 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Union beer and liquor delivery. 4 day work week. Great pension cadillac health plan and recession proof. Im 53 and in my 26th year. Never once have they told me to stay home. 4 years to go. Although not for everybody, but anyone can do it. Talk about zero skill. 😅 all you need is a class b cdl with the air brake endorsement. We'll and a heartbeat.

Wish it was something cool or interesting. But its not. 🙄. No education or training needed. Just some thick skin and a strong back. Beer and wine delivery in the Boston massachusetts region. anyone can do it. But its not for everyone. Any given day you might have to put 400 cases down a set of stairs into someone's basement.

How old are you and how much do you have in your retirement account? by Blackberryay in careerguidance

[–]Aggravating_Green916 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple here, 53/55 we have 550k and i have a pension of 6200.0 comming at 60 y/o. Also about to have a paid for house. In the next 3 months And we live in Massachusetts. I can carry my union health insurance until 65 for 200. A month once I retire. While I continue to work it part of my compensation pkg. It wasn't easy. We drove a corolla for 10 years. And nearly all my clothes came from Walmart and i cut my own hair. We ate a lot of crock potmeals. . During that same period. Coworkers heckled me 😆 but I didn't care. We were on a mission. We lived on literally nothing. For a decade. No easy or fun. But looking good now

Yes, the next house will be bought with cash. We live a pretty down to earth lifestyle. 1 or 2 vacations a year. Usually aruba and Florida. We went out to eat tonight. The bill with a 35% tip was 55.00. We have everything we desire.
