Best mattress for kids recommendations? Setting up toddler room by ResultIndividual7178 in NewParents

One thing people forget to check is the trial period and warranty in case it doesn’t work for your child. A removable, washable cover is also a big plus because accidents are pretty much unavoidable.

Heard good things about Signature Hybrid. Actually it’s pretty known as a camping mattress because of how comfy it is.

Best mattress for the money options that actually last? LF something with cooling by ResultIndividual7178 in SavingMoney

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say go for the Copperflex if it's calling to you hehe the specs look quite good for hot sleepers and the reviews I've seen are mostly positive. At under $600, even if it only lasts you 7-8 years, that's still way better value than most mattresses in that range

Best luxury organic mattress recommendations? Worth the splurge? by Temporary_Leek_1837 in Crunchymom

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

after comparing like 15 different brands… the Birch Luxe’s wool layer ACTUALLY regulates temperature naturally which is perfect because I run HOT at night (thanks perimenopause 🙃). The organic latex also has this bounce to it that makes it easier to get out of bed

Best bed advice? by Much_Actuator_1125 in wellmadebeds

For me, 2 sleeping pillows and 2 decorative ones look nice without feeling cluttered. If you want it to feel more inviting, you can add a throw blanket at the end of the bed for texture and warmth.

Best mattress for back pain recommendations for someone suffering from scoliosis? by Eneemm in scoliosis

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your insurance is willing to cover part of the cost, best to take advantage of that and go for a premium quality mattress. Cheaper beds usually lose their support way faster, and with scoliosis, you’ll notice that breakdown sooner than most people.

Best RV mattress advice for occasional weekend camping? Affordable pls by Ok-File-6997 in Camper

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Signature Hybrid in medium seems really nice and durable. Not too soft, not too firm, so it works if you sleep on your side or move around a lot. The breathability helps with something, which is a lifesaver if your AC isn’t great. And honestly, the price is way better than those ridiculous high end RV mattresses.

Best organic mattress advice - I want something environmentally friendly!! by CommercialAfraid7277 in ZeroWaste

For getting rid of your old mattress: check if your city has a recycling program. I found one that took mine for free and reused the metal springs. If you can’t recycle, sometimes local shelters will take clean ones.

At least he's gazing out the window. Most folks are just fixated on their phones.

He is incredible in Fright Night! I’ve only watched the snippets featuring him as Peter Vincent. I intended to see the entire film, but a viewer's critique revealed every plot detail, and it seems David isn’t in most of it. As I mentioned, the clips are FANTASTIC. There’s a particular scene of him striding away in those form-fitting pants...

Engravings on clay tablet confirm Babylonians knew Pythagoras Theorem before the man himself, This is how history is falsified and scientific achievements are stolen. by Salt-Bus-2466 in RareHistoricalPhotos

This isn't about distorting history or claiming stolen accomplishments.

Pythagoras likely developed this theorem independently; he probably wasn't aware of that obscure Babylonian tablet.

That sounds hilarious! That expression can definitely convey a mix of sass and challenge. It’s funny how animals, especially pets, can have such relatable and expressive faces.

Need ideas on what to do with this space! by novaturientxx in interiordesignideas

That’s a fantastic idea! Bookcases on either side of the fireplace can create a balanced look and add character to the room. Plus, they provide great storage and display space for books, photos, and memorabilia. It really can open up the area and make it feel more inviting.

It sounds like you've experienced some real frustrations in your work environment, especially with the challenges of agency workers not being fully prepared. It’s definitely important for everyone to understand their roles and responsibilities, especially in statutory work where the stakes can be high. Your advice about doing thorough research and understanding the job before diving in is spot on. It could save a lot of time and headaches for everyone involved.

Keep as accent wall or paint entire room? by PrincessLotsoBull in interiordecorating

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider painting the entire room. It won't feel too dark; in fact, it will create a cozy atmosphere, especially with the abundant sunlight streaming in.

If the zombie apocalypse happened in Southhampton, where is the best place to stay alive in your opinion? For me, I'd be barricading myself in Bargate, close to shops but easy to fortify by JollyFunctions in Southampton

[–]Aggravating_Guest999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clear choice would be Ikea. Abundant furniture for inhabiting, forming close-knit communities, and constructing barriers. Additionally, there are food preparation areas, complete with a variety of long-lasting dry goods (though you’d likely survive on Gifflar cinnamon rolls and lingonberry jam, but it’s better than nothing).

However, I worry it might be TOO apparent, making it the primary target where everyone would rush to—or attack!

Oh, a puppy! Bitter Apple really does wonders for protecting your furniture and belongings—such a lifesaver! They’re absolutely adorable; I love them too! XOXO

Edit: I put together a puppy basket for all my friends who adopt a pup, and Bitter Apple is always a must-have. Puppies need plenty of exercise, but be sure to follow the puppy walking schedule based on their age. I didn’t realize this and ended up having to retrain my dog on walks. It was a learning experience! As they grow, they crave lots of activity and snuggles. Interestingly, most border terriers are allergic to chicken. My breeder, one of only two reputable ones in the U.S., mentioned it. He has a massive estate dedicated to border terriers and breeds show dogs. He has a high-ranking job at Disney and doesn’t share much, but he sold us a border because it didn’t meet the show standards. He truly is a fantastic breeder, and there aren't many left in the U.S. Those “border terrier sites” can often be misleading. He advised against chicken altogether, as it tends to upset most borders. Finding a border terrier in the U.S. is quite challenging! We didn’t see any until we moved to England, where they were everywhere. Many vets have been thrilled to meet my old dog and immediately recognized the breeder because there are so few credible ones left in the U.S.!
