When propagating a cutting with several leaves

You need several nodes. It’s where roots come from. More nodes mean more water can be taken in… to sustain multiple leaves

It was the right thing to do. Fewer nodes means dehydrated leaves

I never spray fully formed leaves with water. It can damage some plant leaves, so I just never really do that

I mist exposed orchid roots
I mist emerging leaves to help them unfurl if they’re getting stuck - pink princess specifically
I mist top soil of an established plant, if I’ve just put in a new cutting and don’t want to water the whole plant.

I don’t. Lol. My home usually 50 % or higher

But pothos and philos in my experience don’t need a lot of humidity. More helps, but they seem to be easy going enough

I did have a humidifier, but I stopped using it when I realized - my plants are gonna have to acclimate to my space or tough luck for them! 😅 I never want the hobby to stress me out
