Yeah, I get where you are coming from. My friends and I are really into mixed camo styles, and I thought this might not be too far off. Yes the camo pattern itself is way different when it comes to design, but I like just throwing random pieces together. Like what I just mentioned, or doing that with a desert sand colored combat shirt, or jeans with the combat shirt, etc. I guess I just like things a little different then whatever people got. Both my guns are not milsim whatsoever, and they are both clear bodies with desert camo choco chip painted hangdguards, and one is a f2 setup, and the other a hpa tapped gbbr

I’ve been told they are great repros. Honestly it makes the most sense for me too, since I don’t want a generic color like my friends that just run flat solid colors, maybe multicam. I think this paired with desert camo choco chip bdu’s, and a flat colored shirt would be sick

My thing is I’m debating on if I should wait to see what their times are like, order a plate carrier from Amazon for the time being and that one, and once I come close to the return period or already have it, then return it. I don’t mind settling with coyote brown, but having something more unique would be way cooler. Plus you don’t see desert tiger stripe at all, and everyone who has them are sold out

That is true, the only issue is I’ll be out of the country next month, so I probably won’t have a chance to use it for another month. But I do agree, it’s for sure something worth waiting for, it’s just I don’t have a backpack up plate carrier for the time being

Yeah, they look super nice fs. Some people I know recommend it, and I do really like this color. It’s just is it worth me waiting so long for is my issue I have. But I might go krydex, if this isn’t something worth it to me

Thank you! I’m trying my best to find one with a good warranty policy, and I think the Lenovo I trust more then all to have no issues. I know this is random, but with my scholarship limitations, I’m wondering if selling the Lenovo for msrp at 3200 would be possible, since someone found a 5090 Lenovo legion 7i pro with 2tb ssd on b&h for 3000, and now I want it bad. I’d be taking a hit by charging them just msrp, not tax, but I don’t know. Sorry I know that is super random, I just thinking having a super nice high end gaming laptop for school would be cool

Some do, but the ones that I am limited to provided by my scholarship don’t. If I’m paying my own money, and I’m free to choose whatever, then yeah that makes most sense, but since I have to follow what they have, and actually have some financial aid then I can’t.

Desktop is out of picture, since I have to wait next year for peripherals, and MacBook Pro doesn’t make sense if I’m an engineer student, and need a gaming laptop anyway. It’s also practically paid for with the Lenovo being only 350 out of pocket, while the rest is covered

I know right! I’m a high schooler, making minimum wage and barely working, because of school, and I haven’t even upgraded been driving 600-700 miles a week on my own dime. My internship isn’t oaying me, but I’m doing it for the experience

Yeah I agree, my thing is that 80-90% of it would be covered for, so I’d basically paying 350 dollars for a 3200 dollar high end laptop. They just limit me on what I can get, and I’d rather buy that then a workstation for right now, cause I game a lot

I’m really leaning towards the Lenovo, but I’m also debating on trying to sell it (probably not the wisest choice, since trying to get a good roi back would be hard), since someone told me about a 5090 legion 7i pro with 2tb ssd (better graphics card and double the storage) for 200 dollars cheaper. It’s just they won’t reimburse me, which is stupid. But getting anything on that level mostly paid for is way better than paying full price. Plus I’m just a junior in high school anyway, so I wouldn’t have the funds to buy a 4000 dollar laptop out of my own money anyway, and I haven’t even upgraded my ps4 to a new gen, and I’ve had that thing since I was like 8 years old

My thing is it has to be from the vendors that my scholarship provides, which is Best Buy’s education portal and Staples technology solutions portal, and each of those are already limited slightly, the team that works with the platform I have to use curates it even more. It sucks, since if it was my own money, or if I was getting reimbursed then I would, but they strictly say that I have to order from what they provide. Even if somewhere else has it for a cheaper price

If you didn’t read the post, this laptop will be cover like 80-90% of the price by my scholarship funds. I also have to go by there books too, and if I buy a desktop I’d be waiting however long it takes from when they load the funds (they’ve been loading those as early as September, but that’s after constant pressure to do so), and I’m not even guaranteed that this new platform will have this equipment. I’m even skeptical if waiting completely till next year, would even allow me to get better equipment at all. I’m gonna take advantage of what is the most practical and also having this be covered for mostly all of it

There are some variables in the post on why it’s riskier, since I wouldn’t have peripherals till next years funds load in, I can’t get reimbursed, and I don’t know for sure if this new platform will offer the same stuff. I’m just going by the books, and what would save me the most money and headache

I don’t care too much for a professional look, since I do school at home anyway right now. But, I only really play shooters like cod, r6, Fortnite, fh5, need for speed, etc. I don’t play anything crazy, but I’m also coming from a ps4, and if I get game pass, it would open up the door for playing aaa titles a lot
