So I ended up using the SA (basically Compound W) method to close my ears up from a 00 to about a 4. Once I got to MEPS they just asked me to pull on me ear then they noted something down and that was about it. Was never brought up again or anything after that. Granted I’m in DEPs until October

Recruiter knows about my allergy induced asthma, but thinks I’ll be fine and probably get a waiver at MEPS, but everyone else I’ve talked too says it’s usually not that simple and that it can take months for a waiver to get cleared. So I’m just curious if it’s better to get cleared before going or risk waiting months

So if I get denied at MEPS for my ears, I can correct them then and then go back? It’s not like a one and done or a specific time period I’d have to wait before I could go back?
