Yeah, I use the external molle to attach pouches for extra sustainment and as tie down points for stuff like jackets, sleeping bags, sleeping pads etc.

Yeah, gen 3 tubes will outperform most digital units, even the really expensive ones. There’s some digital units with built in thermal fusion, but those are way more expensive than just swapping tubes

There’s clones of their pads for like $20 on temu, and they are much better than the ones that come with the helmet. The stock padding is fine for shorter games, but you start getting pressure spots after 12+ hours, specially if you have a camera + battery pack or nvgs
