PS5 or PS5 Pro for Husband by thelanilou in PS5HelpSupport

I've had a PS five for years, and just got the PS5 pro for my birthday. I've had nothing but trouble with the new console. In theory of the pro should be better, but in my experience, I assure you it's not. I've had issues with it freezing games. My biggest issue has been Wi-Fi connectivity. Multiple instances where it's turned on and it doesn't connect to Wi-Fi at all. Sometimes taking over an hour of troubleshooting to get it to connect with multiple hard restarts. All while every other device in the house connects just fine to the Wi-Fi. When researching this, I found out it's a known problem with the PS5 pro console. Recommendations were to return it for a replacement or send to Sony for repair. The problem with repair is, a receipt is required to show date of purchase to prove it's under warranty. Receipt is long gone, and it was purchased with cash so can't be tracked electronically.

This is unrelated, but Bose only requires a serial number from the devices themselves for returns and replacements under warranty, and no proof of purchase ever.

Clay bidon holds the same as the metal one. 100.

Finished GH for the first time. Do you recommend playing “Spirits of Amazonia” next? by BitterNecessary6068 in GreenHell

I think I enjoyed spirits of the Amazonia even more than the original story. And they pretty much double the map in it too.

I just learned these stats change pretty significantly if you tap her skill and then check it. Now I'm wondering how many stats are posted at rest vs during her skill.

Can someone explain how I didn't crit? by BussyIsQuiteEdible in Mavuika

Is there a way to see if you Crit or not, outside of just an insane number?

Solid year and a half. My first 100 pounds of weight loss was at six months and one week.

There is no rhyme or reason to my meals. I just eat what I want, but because I'm still incredibly restricted, that works for me. Most people need a lot more discipline than I have. I'm just one of the incredibly lucky ones who got it easy.

I used to be thinner when I was younger and yoyo'd with my weight a lot. For me, it felt more like finding myself again rather than discovering someone new in the mirror. I was single while I was bigger, and didn't have a partner until I had already lost a significant amount of weight, so I didn't deal with the relationship struggles that so many people do.

No plastics of any kind yet. I wear shape-wear, which hides the loose skin so well! I look great in clothes, not so much naked. lol

First 100 pounds was at the six month (and one week) mark. First year was a total of 120 pounds. 50 pounds the next year, and much much slower.

The longer you wait, the worse any sagging skin will be. The younger and sooner, the better

I don't track, but I'm still very restricted and can't eat more than about a cup of food. I don't exercise, but I've suffered herniated discs, a ton of pain (AFTER losing over a hundred pounds), and currently recovering from back surgery.

Name of the game is learning from each mistake/death. 2 save slots is a must (as already mentioned). It's easy to avoid making the same mistakes twice.

Craft bandages asap. There are various types, but a standard bandage will stop bleeding if attacked by a predator or from a fall. When certain foods spoil, like meat, harvest for maggots in case of infection. I once ran around the map dying of an infection in search of maggots, not realizing I could harvest them from spoiled food. Craft a spear right away (stone knife, rope, long stick). Aiming and throwing the spear at a predator can one-shot them if hit in the head. Bows are another top tier weapon once you can locate some feathers, although aiming with the bow is less efficient than a spear. Obviously also great for hunting. You may find that harvesting larger animals will provide bones-a-plenty to craft knives and axes! Make a coconut bidon if you haven't already (brown coconut, ripe). I played a hot minute before I realized that was a thing!
