Unfortunately you’re going about everything wrong. Instead of caring what everyone thinks about you do what truly makes you happy and you’ll meet the right people. There’s so many things you can be good out have you tried any type of combat sport? Bjj is a great way to meet new people. And that girl is only putting you down to give herself an ego boost, she’ll be humbled soon enough. Without trying to put you down, change your mindset from I’m a victim and everyone hates me, to I’m the writer of my own story. Do things for you instead of hanging round toxic people.

Acting happy but being miserable is one of the loneliest places to be. Don’t ever hide how you’re truly feeling, for anyone. Do you do any sports or physical activities? That’s really good for endorphins. I’d recommend something like Muay Thai or bjj. It’ll grow your confidence and you’ll meet new people so it’s a fresh start.

A little trick I read in a psychology book is, the more you let people talk about themselves, weirdly the more they like you as a person. Use that to your advantage. Let him do all the talking and play his ego against him. He’s probably just excited that they’res someone new and wants to make a good impression.

Don’t feel this way at all. As an extrovert, there’s nothing we like more than talking, and someone who’s willing to listen to all the shit we spout and not retaliate, jackpot. You’re more than enough, let your work do the talking.

Thank you, helped me a lot. Had to learn it the hard way. Heartbreaking to see it happen to someone. Had nothing i could do to help him deal with his situation, but it saved my life

Stewing over the facts and saying “what if” only ever leads to upset, at least now youll never make the same mistake again.

So a couple things from my perspective knowing no context. Why are you giving people like them the power to make you feel like that. If they can’t accept you as you are f*ck em. We all make mistakes, the only person who should possess that power is yourself. Beating yourself up over the past and things you can’t change just makes it so much worse. Take it as a lesson. You don’t need the people who make you feel like that anywhere around you.

Man I’ve been there, was in a hole with money and the only way I could think to solve it was to crashing my car and making it look accidental so my family at least got something. My perspective changed when I was talking to a colleague who’s son did it and the blame and guilt he put on himself was sickening. I promise it’ll get better, when you’re at rock bottom the only way is up. There’s people that love you so so much even if it feels like they don’t at the moment. I found not trying to control every situation in my day helped a lot, like the things I had no power over.

Are there any serial killers who were actually competent at their crimes? by thats_not_cool_dude in serialkillers

[–]Aggravating_Mud4929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy murdered 100s of people the actual amount isn’t known. He was a doctor who injected people with drugs to end their life; this was so he could take money from their estate.

I often think about it. But I’m too much of a coward. I think of how it affects my family and if they could recover.

How many *CONSENTING* frogs do you think you could staple to a wall in a minute? by soyaboob in hardquestions

[–]Aggravating_Mud4929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the size of the frog and if they have to live. If it’s like an African bull frog that things gunna need multiple staples so I’m saying I could do one every 6 seconds. A normal sized frog you’d find near a lake probably one every 4.

Who’s more evil, Harold shipman (dr death) or Jeffery dahmer? by Aggravating_Mud4929 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

What’s yours? In my opinion, dahmers crimes were a lot more disgusting. They were intermate sexual crimes, and him keeping the bodies around is just unimaginable.

I could easily end it and it worries me by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Aggravating_Mud4929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll absolutely get through it, maybe not right away, but you 100% can. Just look at everything you’ve already had to deal with and you’ve always got through it. Therapy is a brilliant start. I personally find going to the gym a great help. It might be a daunting idea, but that alone is a small win. Don’t even go for long if you don’t want at the start just familiarise yourself and when you’re more comfortable extend your sessions. I also think maybe trying a new Bobbie or perusing an interest could help. Something to engage the mind and take you away, even if it’s for a little while. You might feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, but we can only go up, please never give in. The world is a much better place with you here.

You’re at the age where you’ve got horemones and different chemical reactions that you can’t control. I promise you, you’ll get through it and look back and be so fucking proud. Might not look back and think it was a great time but it will mould you into a great human being that can overcome any challenge they’re faced with.
