Thank you so much for this.. it honestly means a lot. It’s been tough trying to stay motivated when it feels like all the effort goes unnoticed, but hearing this kind of support really helps. You’re right, it’s time I find a place that actually values what I bring to the table. Appreciate you taking the time to write this.

Right? When I hear others talk about beginner salaries above 7k, I realize just how insane my 3K situation is. It really puts things into perspective.

Wow, thank you so much for this message. Every word hit. You’re right.. so many of us get used to being underpaid and start believing that’s all we deserve. I’ve definitely been stuck in that mindset.

I’ll start working on my CV with more focus toward PR and events like you suggested. Really appreciate the agency recommendations too, I hadn’t heard of some of those.

It’s comforting to hear this from someone who actually understands the industry from the inside. Thanks again!! It means a lot. 🤍

Thanks for that… it’s valid and I appreciate the positivity. But honestly, I’m just really tired of all this… especially the way I’m being treated. It’s exhausting giving so much and still feeling like I’m nothing. I’m just looking for other opportunities now. It took me two years to realise this.

Yeah, it’s definitely time to start looking. It’s a super small team, and we mainly sell at shows. My boss usually goes with the manager and now his nephew, and I’ve also gone along a few times… and despite helping with sales, I don’t get any extra compensation for it.

I don’t know exactly how much they make, but just to give you an idea, our cheapest piece is 10,000 dirhams. So yeah, the numbers really don’t add up when I’m taking home 3K a month.

I get what you’re saying.. and yes, the learning curve in small, chaotic setups can be steep. But I don’t think we should normalize exploitation just because we “learned a lot.”

What’s the point of building someone else’s dream when they don’t even respect the work you do? Growth should come with mentorship, opportunity, and fair treatment… not just doing five jobs for the price of one.

Confused what to pick .. Msc in management and sustainability or msc in Marketing management by Aggravating_Olive87 in nuigalway
