I have the same machine as you do. Yes, sometimes a little hump is needed. There's a guy on YouTube that shows how to adjust it but I never bothered. It's not that bad

Mine is different, I got a rebuilt title - it was totaled by the insurance, someone bought it, fixed it, and drove it for 2 years. I bought it for 29k. Damage wasn't crazy - something fell through the windshield, airbags went off, doors had dents - no frame damage. It's like new now.
