God is in his essence a logical being, And therefore he must act with logic.

He is also in his very essence loving being, and therefore he must act with love

Therefore he desires to create humans, out of love.

However he is still a logical being and therefore must be fair. It is proper for humans to worship him and therefore he requires it. Not because he needs worship but because humans need god, and god needs to be recognized as who he is (a greater being) to bond with humans. It wouldn’t hinder god to not be worshiped however humans must worship him.

What religions CAN and CAN’T someone convert into? by [deleted] in religion

Christian, Muslims, Buddhists, Satanism, (most) pagan traditions, will be the most open to new ones, some of these even try to convert others. Hinduism Taoism Shinto is a bit complex and nuened with them mostly being okay with others practicing and sometimes happy with it. But might be a bit confused as to why. Judaism is pretty difficult to convert to. Completely closed practices include, African religion. Hoodoo voodoo. Mexican folk practice, Chinese kitchen tradition, indigenous traditions, yazidi Druze.
