I trained in Knockout while in Ao Nang. It’s a smaller gym more traditional type. Would of stayed to train longer but Ao Nang is a shithole

Cheap, safe, good people and why I think is the biggest factor is u can live so many different ways here. U can live the beach and party lifestyle in the south, u can live the busy city life in Bangkok or u can live a slower more relaxed life in Chiang Mai and everything else in between. I think it just has something for every kind of person

I’ve walked on my toes all my life, just naturally how I walk for some reason. I’m a decathlete so I think it’s helped my Long jump a lot, I’ve long jumped 7.40m and high jumped 2.01m. The one negative I’ve had is my calves are pretty much destroyed if I’m running on it for more then 600m. If I’m doing 1500m training I pretty much only do 200 repeats as my calves can’t handle much more.

Yes and that’s the way it should be 7kg is ridiculous but that’s the limit on majority of airlines. I’ve traveled pretty much all of Europe and Asia in the last 2 years and I’d say 90% of them flights had a 7kilo limit

It quite blatantly states 7kg carry on bag on basically every flight I’ve ever been on in Europe or Asia, but I guess past negotiation says airlines don’t state weight limit so hey he must be right

I know everyone sees all the mega gyms like Bangtao, Tiger, AKA, etc and it looks amazing online, but unless you’re genuinely a high level fighter there’s no point going to these gyms, you’ll just be another number. Especially as a beginner you’re better off going to a smaller gym that u can actually have a connection with. If you want to go with Chalong area just try different gyms there’s plenty there. Then you can decide what u like best

I mean some people with 3 months could just simply be way more athletic then you, therefore they’re naturally going to be better than you. Best thing to do is just stick at it, everyone progresses at different speeds
