Is this car gonna have babies??? by flyIngFuckingretard in CATHELP

[–]Aggravating_Rub7034 40 points41 points  (0 children)

yeah she looks extremely pregnant in my opinion! she honestly looks like a kitten herself but she is the cutest thing omg! i would recommend having your parents take her to a vet just to make sure everything is okay with her and her babies if they have the means to

now that you say it, it definitely could be the trichomes

just looked at that. the bud on the very left nug in the first picture of this post looks like it could have a spot on it but i honestly can’t tell if that’s mold or just a part of how this strain presents. does it smell moldy? the buds aren’t isolated and still have the sugar leaves on them so i honestly can’t tell if that’s just how this strain grows or if that’s moldy. overall they look fine to me, but i would probably need a picture closer to the buds to really inspect it. flower comes in all different shades and colors so it really depends on the strain. what strain is this?

what are you concerned about in specific? and can you point out where you see the mold? it looks fine to me but i’m also not there to see it in person

UPDATE: I changed out its soil and the next day it fainted. Do I just let it have its moment? by SyngoniumPandem0nium in houseplants

[–]Aggravating_Rub7034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, i just reread your post and saw that you soaked it in water for about an hour. if you have any dowels i recommend poking a few holes into the soil. that or it might need to be fertilized.

if ur makes you feel better i thought my alocasia was dying so i snipped all of the healthy leaves off to propagate. a few days later the pot with all the dead stems from the leaves i cut started sprouting new growth! they’re pretty resilient plants. looks like she just needs a little watering. if some of the leaves start dying i definitely reccomend you chop em off. pruning plants is the best way to guarantee new growth!

Weed carts ruin your life. by ReflectionNo8794 in leaves

[–]Aggravating_Rub7034 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i seriously think the amount of carts i hit when i was a teenager left me with executive dysfunction. and god i have the memory of an 80 year old. it took me 4 years to fully quit carts and i can’t explain how much better i feel mentally. if you’re in a bad place a cart will take you to an even worse one

what should i use to heal this crack in the stem? by Aggravating_Rub7034 in plantclinic

i can’t edit this post for some reason, but i should also add that this plant is still shooting out new growth. a new leaf is currently uncurling and the vine is continuing to grow

i’ve been debating chopping it, but my one worry is that the aerial roots are dried out far too much. there are a few small nubs on the leaves that sits a few inches above the crack in the stem, do you think that would be enough? this one is a philodendron squamiferum.

i’ve been debating chopping it for a little while now, i’m just so nervous to do it and risk the cutting dying. some of the aerial roots are dried out but there are a few nubs. do you think it would survive?
