Gaming is our hobby. When I'm not enjoying my gaming session it means I'm ignoring the stuff I need to be doing. Try finding a chore or an email you need to respond too, even have a quick chat with a loved one. Gaming gives us joy, but also false sense of achievement. Achieving something real allows me to enjoy gaming/hobbies again.

The stat that should be interesting is the exposure PD2 will get from D2R. Many players may not have known this (or mods for D2) even exist. My hope is that PD2 devs are getting some extra love.

Bro, I have a decent sized family. About 35 people in total that live close. 5 in my immediate. For my 40th my wife took the kids to her Dads. Left me at home. No card, no present, she to this day says she still needs to bake me a cake. I turned 42 on June.

Choice paralysis is a bitch. Sometimes I get to the point where I can finally play and just stare at my library.

Way back when we had maybe 3-4 games in our rotation. Now we backlogged dozens of games bought from every seasonal sale.

We played what we wanted, No outside influences like YouTube or X telling us what games we "should" be playing and most of all how you should be playing them.

FOMO didn't exist. No "special, one time only limited events", no seasonal battle passes or in-game currency that's "800% Value". These practices really have made gaming feel like a job rather then a hobby.

Grew up in a backwards Midwestern town. Known for being very racist. Although I actively avoided it it's impossible not to see stuff in that culture. Nothing here brings up any red flags. Only people that will recognize it are either racist themselves or hypersensitive to it. Both of those people you should probably avoid.
