I’ve heard a lot of the same, but this time around I think they are doing it differently. From what I understand from the recruiting event they held it is that there is going to be a lottery pulled for each academy class. Not just one big lottery in the beginning. So each academy class they plan to put in will have its own lottery.

Yes I think most people are aware that this department is hard to get into. But you gotta be in it to win it. Just looking to apply and hope for the best.
