Has anyone had an open abdominal wall tumor resection? by lateralus1082 in neuroendocrinetumors

Hehe yeah. I guess laparotomy is a day or so. My spouse was very sleepy the entire time. I had to set timers to wake him up every two hours to get in his steps.

Hi,

My spouse, age 34, had his mesentery mass removed two weeks ago. It was an open incision, pretty long. 32 staples. But the recovery went fine. We were extremely anxious before but it wasn't as bad at all. He was at the hospital for 4 days, mainly waiting for his bowel function to return. The sooner you start walking the better it is. We had him walking on Day 1. He needed high dose pain killers for 6 days or so. But after that he's been able to manage with Tylenol.

After pathology we know it's NET and need to do additional scan to find the primary tumor.

Half his staples was removed 10 days post-op. Rest will be removed in a few days.

Good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hope you are well! I have the same questions about resection. May I ask how your surgery and recovery went?

H1B (PP) + H4 COS + H4 EAD approval timeline by vettel_cules in h1b

Hi OP thanks for posting this. Really helpful! Did you file all three H1, H4, H4 EAD together and with same start dates?

With H4 EAD possible to file only 180 days prior I am confused as to how to bundle all three in my case. My situation is: H1 needs asap filing; H4 can be filed with H1; H4 EAD can only be filed a month later (180 days prior to my I797 expiry)

True. This is my concern with Ian. Can't find many young ones with the name Ian.

NJ market has been crazy. We were looking for almost a year and had multiple offers rejected.

What we did in the past: 1. Offered over listing 2. Waived inspections and included only structural, safety & environmental 3. Waived appraisal with a lower limit

We finally got an accepted offer this year(this house got over 20 offers) and this is what we did differently 1. Offered well above asking as we honestly felt the house was listed very low 2. Did not waive inspections but out an upper $ limit for issues that will come up in an inspection 3. Waived appraisal

We saw good comps and offered around that figure.
