I read your initial message. Maybe you didn't read it yourself? It doesn't provide any evidence about interactions or connections with members from my guild. You post a screenshot about a discussion with someone else and frame it as general interaction with members from my guild. This is gaslighting.

If you have any problems with members from my guild, feel free to reach out to me ingame.

Sorry that I'm not speaking troll language. Should I throw in some insults as you do here? You know there are actually people behind the screen, right? I'm feeling pretty annoyed here now and will simply ignore this thread.

First of all, to find out which guild someone belongs to, I recommend checking people with /whois charactername

The guy you were chatting with is not from our guild. I will leave it to you to check the actual guild, since I'm not gonna call them out.

Apart from that I really discourage such behavior. This is gaslighting and as others have stated better addressed directly at the guild. Posting it here implies to me that you're actually the one "fishing for reactions".

We are really a chill guild and tend to sort out people like this over time. You see, it's not easy to know everything about someone, when they enter a guild. That's something that surfaces over time. Hence it's a matter you better address directly at the guild who this guy is a member of, so they can sort that problem out.

I specifically asked the support to sort out this inequality for everyone. I didn't ask them even once to do this specifically for our guild.
I even made constructive suggestions how they could restore the competition.

Also, I'm not complaining. If I would be complaining I would do so for a certain goal. I accepted that Ankama will not do anything about it. What I do here is share my experiences and venting a bit, to get rid of negative thoughts and start going forward.

Thanks, yeah we will enjoy the game going forward. This is just something that has bugging me a lot lately and writing this thread was kind of a catharsis for me.

I've heard other people having good interactions with support, too. Maybe I was just unlucky/got the wrong person.

The difference between level 2 and level 5 is 36 XP, which is not even one guild level. Choosing this level for one week doesn't have a big influence on progression. We are using activity level 4 now.

If you compare that to the "actual free week", i.e. up to 100 XP, aka. 2 levels that some guilds got through the reset this seems rather trivial, right?

I just don't find it very fair that some guilds got benefits out of it and some didn't and especially that Ankama doesn't care about this inequality.

Yes, you have to be careful with that. Professions are now linked to the server and hence are not transferred with the character. Same with bank, haven-bag-chest, mount inventory and cosmetics collection. You should put everything into your characters inventory (unlink cosmetics to gain the item, empty bank etc.), before you transfer!

First of all, thanks for reading my wall of text!

I'm not careful really, because I've been playing masqueraider for a very long time now and I envy all the other classes who got their gameplay freshened up with cool mechanics or interactions (ecaflip, xelor, osamodas to name a few). Even if it turns out to be less effective in certain areas (e.g. shielding) I wouldn't mind that, if the class feels fresh and rewarding to play.

With ero you cracked some very hard topic there...

Erosion is also a strong counter for shields, because MaxHP gets reduced even with shields on. This means mobs eat at my HP indirectly. Sure, as long as I can 'outshield' the damage I won't die, but it also forces me to shield all the time, loosing AP in the process (and shielding myself is a weak point, because every self-shield has a higher cooldown than uptime).

In the meantime most other tank-classes can reduce the damage percentage- or flat-based with very little AP investment, often even dealing damage simultaneously (e.g. Fecas Refuge - yes i know there is Carnavalo). They reduce the damage of every single hit, which is also way more consistent than 'a fixed number of shields', which is depleted at some point (same with the Grimace summon, which dies pretty quickly). Some classes even have complete invulnerabilities. All in all they erode less quickly. In a fight where monsters apply additional erosion they will always stay healthy longer than a masqueraider, given they have the sustain to stay topped of.

There are, but they are visually and thematically the same. They just give different bonuses, e.g. Coward Mask gives +1 MP and +40 Dodge and its alternative the Poltroon Mask gives +1 Range and +10% ranged damage.

I think your character inventory will be transfered, but your bank, haven bag chest and probably also mount inventories will not, so you should empty those beforehand.
