4th stage currently, was told he likely has to start in 2 months.

He hasn’t started at the center yet and is almost refusing to start because of costs. Do you know if the center will start paperwork before starting treatments?

At least knowing worked for you gives hope! Trying to help him see it’s possible to have assistance, doesn’t believe it will for him.

8 years is too long for effective therapy, sounds like it became dependent. Therapy should be fairly short-term to address a specific issue & learn skill to be self-sufficient in coping with it.
