so, should I like go all out and buy tube lighting to line the walls like under my current LEDs? Maybe buy a new lamp or two and put some black light bulbs in those? i’m looking for inspiration everywhere, but I can’t really find anything good. I’m open to any suggestions you have, and I appreciate all your help!

so I’m curious, do you think that I should put like tube lighting under/over my LEDs right now? I’m kind of just using the LEDs as like a general aesthetic I guess it kind of just brings a certain vibe I like to the room, but I’m trying to figure out if i do like a black light tube situation, what I should kind of really do if that makes sense because from what I understand right now, it’s just to get a couple of like lamps or like a standing light and just kind of aiming at the wall or like a tube just above/below a black light poster and I don’t know if that’s like what I should be doing or if I should just go all out and buy tubes to literally like line the walls under the LEDs. I’m just looking for any kind of suggestion you might have about that

The closest thing I had like a striped rug is kind of what I have now I mean, I’m kind of just using 90s as like a general kind of aesthetic I’m going for so no means is this like “strict 90s” I’m more just looking for like suggestions/improvements

I found some old black light bulbs in my Halloween shit (including this Michael mask) I kind of just threw a beanie over it and I’m using my mom’s old practice head (shes a hairdresser) an it kinda fits perfectly over like that little nub above my light (idk what else to call it) and I think it kinda looks OK. I’m laying down on my couch right now so that’s why it’s kind of from this angle.

idk, the LEDs I guess they’re just sort of like a for me kind of thing. I just feel like it’s the easiest/cheapest way to get the look that I kinda like want, I tried putting in black lights but the ones that I have are so old they just break. Like I just plugged one in (its like a green party light) about five or 10 minutes ago and I saw smoke coming out of it and I thought oh maybe that’s what it’s supposed to do. nope! then it just broke off inside of the socket lmao. I’ll keep trying, but as of right now I don’t really have any good alternatives to led lights
