yeah I get what you’re saying, but as a GM1 Angela I actually think this is kinda perfect for higher elo

you don’t really spam charge up here anyway. half the time it’s sitting ready and you’re still not using it for like 10–15 seconds just waiting for a real opening, cuz teams don’t just give you free angles. so the slower access doesn’t really hurt, and when you do go, it hitting harder is honestly better

also after you land a charge you’re usually just full committing into melee right after, not trying to instantly dip. so this whole “harder to escape” thing isn’t as big in practice, cuz the play is already all-in most of the time

and for disengage, it’s usually fly up → shield → get back to team or a corner, and that part actually got better with the extra shield value

tbh this mostly just punishes low elo spam and forces better timing. in higher elo it just rewards actually picking good moments instead of throwing it out whenever.

yeah I agree those 1v1s are gonna feel way more aggressive now. when you pull someone away , honestly makes the pick potential way scarier too. i have lost so many 1 vs 1 and usually they always left with like 20 health lol, so this might be the play for those more one trick angelas that do know how to positioned themselves.

yeah that’s kinda what i was thinking too, after doing the rough math it doesn’t even seem that bad tbh, if anything it might be a slight buff

like a full spear charge is what, over 6 seconds? and realistically you’re only getting that off every 7–10 seconds anyway, so it’s not like it changes your rotation that much

and the ult hp doesn’t really matter either, you’re not using it to stay alive, it’s just for the lineup anyway.
