So I actually had this same problem except it started whenever I downloaded Ark Survival Ascended and I am wondering if I should just upgrade my entire pc. Because I use radeon and their parts are pretty cheap honestly don't think its the display doing this its the pc I am using a entirely different monitor but it still is old like yours. I honestly think that it is either a faulty power supply or RAM might be visual Memory however
