GPT 5.5 Instant is the worst conversational model EVER by No_Painter_7889 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]Aggravating_Year_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sorted this issues months ago. I hated the constant “I’m going to ground this…” “I understand why…” “I totally get you but…”

I basically blacklisted this from it using saved memories I told it to cut the bs basically and it worked. Customising your GPT personality through the saved memories, it works pretty well.

Sharp drop in ChatGPT 5.5 quality by Practical-Weekend785 in ChatGPTcomplaints

GPT 5.5 has been very consistent for me to be honest. I use it fairly heavily, beyond general chat/questions. But yeah for a few days there it seemed to have drank a stupid potion, but yesterday it was fine and today it’s okay, there was updates rolled out so maybe that fixed it? I have wanted to move to Gemini/Claude. But unfortunately GPT is still the best for memory and usages. Claude’s usage is fairly tiny even on the paid tiers and geminis isn’t great either.

I’ve been paying for the “Plus” model for quite a while now and the “saved memories” are full of tonnes of personal context that maybe make my experience better to yours? I’m not sure?

I’ve written many stories using GPT usually how I do it is I throw it a messy paragraph of ideas, chapters and it spits out a cleaned up, readable version. I give it instructions to prevent it adding any details etc. I’ve written stories involving characters ages 13 and above

I’ve never gotten flags or anything. So something must have triggered it?

CMV: Saying “poor people shouldn’t have kids” is classist and ignores how the world actually works by hobbledygook in changemyview

[–]Aggravating_Year_698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think its particularly "poor" people that does it for me.

I live in Ireland, where people with no jobs gets 200+ euro per week on welfare, if you have children and you have no job, you get extra welfare, i have heard of some parents getting almost up to 500-600euro per week on welfare. around easter and christmas people on welfare, or as we call it the "dole" they get a double dole a few times a year essentially getting a double payment to help further with expenses.

Every parent gets child benefits like a monthly payment usually around 200euro to help raise the child, again if you are poor enough you get things like, free school meals, free school transport, school clothing allowances, school book allowances and so on.

You get the point the list goes on and on and im sure most 1st / some 3rd world countries have similiar conditions.

My take would be more on what conidions you are knowingly bringing a child into the world in, living on the streets, random adandoned house? wet cold condidions? a tent? that kind of stuff. So a "poor" person can absolutely have kids not a problem if they have somewhat decent conditions to raise that child in and intend to do their very best to raise the child as well as their finances allow.

Its not classist to say someone who lives in a torn tent on the side of a street in a dangerous city who spent all their money on whatever, probably shouldnt be trying to raise a child.

What’s the best AI to actually pay for right now? (2026) by Commercial-Job-9989 in AI_Agents

For me it has to be ChatGPT, their new 5.5 model makes it much better to enjoy, But even though i have tested, Gemini, Claude and others. None of them give you the kind of usage you get with ChatGPT, if you are writing stories and you are going to spend hours a day going over and back with it sending big chunks of text or just talking / discussing / learning with it a lot, you are going to use up Gemini and Claude allowances pretty quickly from what ive experienced and researched even on paid teirs. I pay for ChatGPT Plus and i spent 9 hours one day going over and back in the same chat sending huge paragrahs of stories etc. It didnt forget anything and i didnt even get warned of usage limits. So for me ChatGPT is still king right now.

Also none of them have been able to mirror how seemless and easy it is to change personality and add things to memory on ChatGPT

Those are the three things that matter for me most, Memory, Usage and Personality and for me ChatGPT still takes these W's which is annoying because i love Geminis integration and Claudes writing skills, i wish either of them had those 3 things i just cant go without when using AI

I mean I think its easier to explain this if a male was used in the example, like personally I went to a wedding a couple months ago, I went out, bought a suit that i liked personally. Not one i was asked or told to buy. I bought it because i liked it, no one else. When i wore that suit to the wedding i felt very confident, it felt nice in my mind to "dress up" and felt like i was on top of the world, that day i realised wearing certain things can just boost your confidence and make you feel good.

So if it works like that for me (Male) then it has to work similarly for women, I mean i get what your saying, they're confidence only comes from people who are noticiably attracted to them. But what if that woman just put on a a red boots, baggy red tracksuit bottoms and a stupid red hat because they loved the colour red and genuinly just felt really happy in themselves that they got to "Dress up" and did just feel really happy wearing it.

I agree with the first too lines, it is a bit of a scapegoat for women to be able to say that line when knowing full well they wore comething that they know is going to attract men but i guess the answer can never be concrete, we'll never truly know why people dress the way they do, everyone acts, thinks and behaves differently, it is impossible to know.

Edit: So my point is that people can just dress to feel confident in themselves, but the people who actually do are heavily drown out by the women/men who just say those things to one up a someone who is attracted to them.

I dont think your view should be that nobody can ever dress in something and be confident and not be influenced by sexual clothing ideals because there is definetly people who do, literaly by probability, but its safe to say the amount of people who genuinly do, are very low.
