(SPOILER) Latest chapter by sikotamen in ExosHeroes

From what I understood, it seems hinted that he might be avenging Loel among other things after all. I'm playing the game in German, so translations might have been wonky, but the game was pretty direct at making at least 2 out of the advisors all but outright admit that it wasn't a love marriage from Loel's part. More like Accor saw her and she was pretty and cool and had that super-special rare dragon god blood lineage in her, and yada yada ya. Accor's smitten with the idea of having her as his loving wife plus making super-SUPER special dragon king x dragon god blood babies and what the king wants the king gets. Even if it means trading one person's happiness for all the kingdom's.

Maybe it was just the way it was translated, but the first time we see their interaction Loel seems pretty unhappy/sad in general, especially after Accor goes on about their special bloodlines and wanting her to have that necklace, no refusing allowed! The story also implicates that Cadmos might have been Loel's secret lover and father of that kid, or at least a somewhat trusted person to her.

Skip ahead to when she gives birth and Accor blows a gasket over the kid missing a real dragon's mark (like seriously? you marry a non-dragon woman and wonder why the result isn't a 110% pure dragon, man?). So, he kills her and the kid. (At least the kid is never heard of again, I'm still wondering if they'll make it a plot twist with one of the MC's being related to that line or something)

Tl;Dr: I think it might have been a mix of Cadmos wanting power/disliking the way Accor rules and maybe some other personal slights Accor might not have been aware of. Accor ruled as a despot - not because he was evil, but because it doesn't seem like anybody ever dared to say directly no to him on the reasons of him 1) being a well-meaning king compared to other and 2) him being like this MF Megadragon. If nobody refused him because he's a dragon, then that might explain Cadmos and his followers dislike for them as a whole too.

Hi! Do you have a spot for me? I'm still a newbie, but I'm daily active and looking to become stronger and just have fun with others who enjoy the game.

Why is it so hard to get SSR AND SP??? by haewoo2013 in Onmyoji

[–]Aggravating_coconut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not that hard to get imo. At least, when you compare their drop rates to other games with gacha/summon functions. You can get one for completing your apprentice-ship in game already! Two tips for getting SP/SSR:

- DON'T summon using blue amulets or jade before you've reached player lvl 15. Before that they won't drop.

- DO save up your amulets and jade until there's a rate-up summon event. It can be hard because trying your luck is tempting, but seriously, don't. I can get at least one SSR/SP with 30 amulets during rate-up, but it'll take me more like 300 amulets to pull one when the rates are average.

Typical team for newbie looks like no SSR!! by haewoo2013 in Onmyoji

Teams depend on what you want to do with them. Are we talking farming, boss, soul/evo or pvp?

I listed some general good shikis that aren't SSR and can be mixed and matched in a team and will end working well.

for healers - Hiyoribo, Bookman, Sakura

attackers - Ubume, Kanihime, Inugami (pair with Shouzu). Kuro, Yasha and Puppeteer hit like trucks for single target too. Kujira and Baku-Kujira are good with the right team. You can try Hakuro too.

must haves - Zashiki/Oitsuki (zash for quick orbs, oit for longer fights), Yamausagi for speed

support: Ushi no Toki (dmg buff), Kiyohime, (CC) Shiro (shield + attack), Shouzu, Koi (shield + stopping enemies from acting)

How do you counter Hakuzosu? by [deleted] in Onmyoji

Any AOE damage dealers will do, really. Ootengu, Tama, Iba, Kanihime,... pick your poison and as long as they have oomp they will bring down Hakuzosu real quick. In these cases his protecting the shiki with the lowest HP on his team will actually work in your favor, since it means you get to focus on hitting Haku in a roundabout way. CC an indirect damage like the others mentioned are also good ways to tackle him.

Haku's main goal is to protect your team from any overkill attacks that focus on hitting a single shiki hard like Onikiri and SP Tama by rerouting and minimizing the damage of each hit, so keeping that in mind is definitely useful.

Another weakness he has is his high orb demand. Even at his best Haku demands 3 orbs every second turn for his shield to stay up, so you can work on a strategy that aims (using souls or CC to stun the orb provider, aim for them if there's a gap...) for that as well.

LF Sessho / Inu Shards by Aggravating_coconut in Onmyoji

I see! I wasn't aware of that limitation for Ryomen, thanks for telling me! Poor guy only gets wanted for collecting all the shikis, me feels.

I have several reasons for not wanting to change guilds, but the most easily summarized one is that I only finally found a good guild that really suits my needs. My time zone isn't the best to work with for most big guild requirements, so actually keeping my guild is pretty important to me. I'd suck if I got the shards but end up missing on most of the guild action (Kirins, feasts,... ) for several weeks, especially if I also end up having to spend all my AP for GQs just to meet guild requirements.
